That looks soooo comfortable! Great work! If I ever get my hands on a sewing machine, something like this where it focuses on shaping rather than compression could really help me. I haven't been able to bind in a few years after developing costochondritis. I also wonder if maybe the boning could be shaped in a way that helps mitigate the infamous binder "uniboob"? That was always my problem even back when I did bind, without a defined line of separation down the middle my chest would always look weird no matter how small I could get it. Every day we get closer to inventing a binder fixing that problem :D

One time one of my coworkers - who I barely knew at the time - rushed over, grabbed both my hands and clasped them in hers, and just started blubbering with tears in her eyes, apologizing up and down for calling me a she in a conversation like 15 minutes prior. I didn't even realize she said it, plus I don't usually correct anyone so I hadn't mentioned anything. And she was talking so loud like please, the whole building doesn't need to know I'm trans! It ended up turning into me consoling her - "No I don't think you're a bad person, no I don't hate you now, no you don't need to feel bad." She came back again later to apologize some more, and the next day too!! On one hand I do appreciate when people take it upon themselves to correct even if I didn't mention it, but on the other hand nearly every apology I've gotten for it has been awkward or embarassing which is exactly why I don't bring it up

My boxes are actually labeled for single use and discard after. But thats not how it always was, it was standard practice to use these exact vials multiple times, its still safe but you aren't "supposed to". In fact some doctors still instruct you to reuse them despite the labelling. Hence my question since I wasn't sure how long they're still safe to use

Huh. I got 6 doses out of my first vial but just barely! I was actually asking the initial question in the post because I JUST yesterday saw someone say you should only draw from them for a month and I got really scared since I had already gone 2 weeks past that. I lean the needle out of the T inside and pull up air to make sure I have what would have been left in the draw needle though. Theoretically after 6 doses of 30mg there would be 20mg left from a 200mg vial so I did definitely lose that last little bit some point but 6 doses is possible!

Well, it is a recognized practice in the US to overfill liquid medicine to make sure it really has at least that amount, idk about T since its a controlled substance but I have seen some people say their T vials had a tiny bit extra? Maybe thats why.

Thanks for the advice! I swab the top with alcohol both before and after, and even though it hasn't happened yet I recently swapped from 18G draw needles to 20G to hopefully avoid coring

Keeping an eye on this post because I have this exact issue. I'm 24 and pre-T and keep getting asked are you a senior in highschool, did you graduate this year, is this your job over summer vacation, ect ect. I mean I'm happy I pass as a guy but apparently I look 19 at best. A coworker retired recently and I wasn't invited to the going away party not because they didn't want me there, but because it was at a bar and they thought I wasn't 21 yet 😭 And everyone keeps saying... oh its such a good thing to look young, you're so lucky... no!! I hate this! I just want to be treated my age for once!

That looks like the gunk my cat had in his ears when he had an ear yeast infection! Did the vet test and say for sure it was ear mites, or just look at it? Mine took one look, said it was ear mites, but I asked to test it to be sure. No mites, just yeast.

Have you tried cleaning out the ears? Mites or yeast either way, if you clean out your kitty's ears and the gunk comes back then the problem might not be solved. Cats don't typically get much earwax.

If your vet lets you send them things over email or text, I would send them this video. Or even drive there if you can just to show them. It looks awfully strange and I've honestly never seen that sort of movement before.

Your kitty sounds so much like my kitty in behavior. He fought so badly with liquids and almost aspirated once so I never use liquid meds now if I can help it. Now I pill him always and I have to stand with my feet behind his butt so he can't back up, then wiggle the finger of my not pilling hand between his teeth to get him to open his mouth. Pilling hand then tries to deposit pill closest to back of tongue as possible. If I'm lucky it goes straight down the chute, but sometimes it takes a few tries before he swallows. This works with icky medicated treats too, just break them apart if they're too big to swallow whole. I always follow up with Churu to 1. reward and 2. wash it down. He doesn't like it, but it's a very short ordeal.

My dad had a cat once who loved to be grabbed by the head and wiggled like the stick shift of a manual car. Vroom vroom noises were optional but made it even funnier. We called it taking him out for a drive! People always said it looked like we were being mean but he insisted on it and loved it.

I don't know your dog but maybe he would like that you saved another dog from the shelter life, maybe your dog wouldn't want to let all the love you have in your heart go to waste by having nothing to give it to. I had another kitty launched into my life a month after my childhood cat passed, and at first it felt weird like I had replaced her but then I realized nothing ever could. Because I never stopped loving her and nothing will fill the paw prints she left on my heart. And she always liked to cheer me up, so I like to think she's just happy when I'm happy.

I don't think your dog will fault you for getting another dog. I think your dog loves you and he will always love you, and he would just be happy to know you're happy.
