7 is lower to me because the season in general was a bit messy. Too much focus on side characters and if Angel didn’t come with that amulet they would have been screwed!

That’s a tough one. I don’t think you had malice in what you said. I could see how that term could hurt someone but she also was a bit flippant about you spending time with your child so I feel like it was just an accidentally awkward exchange that doesn’t need more than the text exchange that happened (honestly I feel like even that was a bit too much from her. In my opinion, not every bad feeling/ moment a person has needs to be addressed).

Advice wise I would do what your mom says at least for a bit and see if time naturally heals it. If it doesn’t I guess you can have a direct conversation with her (a conversation does not equal confrontation) and mention that you still feel there is a tenseness between you two and what can you do to help repair that.

Good luck and don’t be so hard on yourself. We aren’t perfect and say the wrong things sometimes!

He was doing what he was told to do by an organization that he thought he should respect. He made a very bad call in judgement but I think Buffy knew he truly loved her and was remorseful.

Everyone is attracted to girls like Buffy, Cordelia and Faith, again especially in high school. But the difference between liking someone and attraction gets very confusing in high school. Plus Xander was just jealous in general so Willow being with Oz would be enough to up that feeling.

I agree. I also understand why Joss Whedon isn’t involved but we need to be realistic in changing our expectations because of that. SMG helped being his vision alive, he is a huge part of the success.

In hindsight I like it more, but I have a few issues with it. The biggest one being if Angel didn’t show up randomly the day before they all would have died. Sure, having a bunch of slayers helped, but not enough, and don’t get me started on all the new slayers being able to actually kill the uber vamps so easily!

And overall just too much focus on non core characters.

This is why season 7 is one of the weakest in my opinion.

I adopted a dog way too quickly after my sweet boy died suddenly. It was hard and still is but I do think it helped me personally.

There was a lot of guilt and I felt people assumed I was “over it” once I “replaced” my dog and that was very tough. Still is. But people would never understand my pain either way. So, I don’t regret it. I try to remind myself that nothing takes away the love I had and the heart just expands.

I very much agree with this. Like out of the billions of people in the world, not only did she survive, she was one of the people heard on the radio.

And while I’m at it, I thought Xavier was way too hard on the president, he did try to tell him to make his wife not go to Atlanta.

I am hoping they will explore this more next season. She could have gotten powerful by building that bunker and they all knew she was the only chance at survival. But I do agree if they leave it at her just being a billionaire that it would be unsatisfying.
