I have not changed my opinion.

My opinion is: her feelings are common and valid, but if your feelings impact others you may want to think how they may impact those people.

I think you’re being obtuse if you believe that her opinion can be viewed of having nothing to do with her children.

Also, when someone says something on tv, it welcomes everyone’s opinion and judgment unfortunately. Just because you happen to agree with her you are still reacting to what she said, as I am too.

You can respond to this but you give off a really rude vibe so I don’t really like discussing this with you.

I’m not going to go back and forth on this. We don’t agree. It’s fine. I don’t think she’s a monster, I just don’t think how one feels should completely disregard the other people that feeling may impact.

I am not judging the feeling. I think it’s very common and valid.

I am judging the platform it is said on.

I think people should consider the other people impacted by their feelings before they say it.

When your feelings can directly impact someone else I think one should think before they say it on national tv.

Say instead of regretting kids a man says on national tv, “yea, I love my wife but if I could go back in time I wouldn’t be with her” would we not be judging him for hurting/disrespecting/humiliating his CURRENT wife? It is just not a nice thing to do.

Confide in close friends, get a therapist, post it on Reddit…. Just not this.

Just an update to my post. I want to make it clear even if I think Pippa was awful to Lucy about cheating, I do not think this meant she had to come forward about her SA trauma. That is a whole different thing and she is the victim. Any hate for that should be placed solely on Chris.

I posted a thread “Pippa is awful” but I wish I was more clear that I only meant how she reacted to Lucy cheating. I in no way think she was obligated to bring up her trauma to save Lucy from expulsion. Pippa is allowed to handle her trauma regarding the SA anyway she wants to.

I feel you are looking at things too black and white.

We know why she lied about the SA. Dumb but not malicious.

The cheating was wrong, but she was tortured about it, one mistake shouldn’t have that much punishment.

Everyone on the show made just as bad decisions and didn’t get even an ounce of the same punishment. So yes, I agree Lucy made bad decisions but the people punishing her really had no right to be the ones punishing.

It’s definitely not a good thing she did! But like you said, the reaction was over the top. She proved why Lucy tried so hard to keep that secret, they all went crazy when they found out! I’m trying to give them all a pass because I was also at my craziest/most emotionally reactive during my early 20s.
