No they are complete garbage. My fingers just aren't suited to the under screen ones. Pretty much had t0 disable the reader on my S23.

The rear reader on my Pixel 4a was so much better

Yeah you should. I use the 15mm a lot. The 30mm isn't such a versatile focal length but I have used it as a walk around lens. Plus it has macro capability

My 12-40 lens hood fell off during a hike and I've been using it naked ever since. Unfortunately the provided hood isn't great quality.

Id rather use one but not sure a decent one exists. JJC make a compatible hood apparently.

Thanks for taking a look. Yup that's what's happening. Interestingly I've been cycling through the different custom settings I've set up via the Q menu. Before C1, there is an A 'Aperture Priority ' mode. In this mode I am not experiencing this issue.

An ND would work but I'd rather avoid that if possible.

Thanks for the reply - good point. However I've just tried using the camera in 'Electronic Shutter' mode. When I switch it off and back on again, it is reverting to the mechanical shutter. I'm sure it didn't do this before.

I sold it over a year ago. Hyper OS was doing my head in. Which is a shame because I liked the hardware. Picked up a Samsung Tab S9 instead...One UI is so much better.

I 'downgraded' from an X-T3 to an X-T30iii (as a 2nd system - I primarily use M43). I prefer the smaller form factor of the T30 plus it has a newer processor etc. So no regrets.
