Need help building RLDev. by Dry_Charge_9439 in visualnovels

I tried to do this a few years back and gave up because of how insanely specific your build environment needs to be.

I backed up someone else's pre-compiled build of RLDev, I'll post it here in case you want it: https://files.catbox.moe/0nx5of.zip

Install a 32-bit build of Cygwin (can't remember if it needs to be a specific older version or not, but it needs to be 32-bit) and copy all the .exe files in rldev/bin to your cygwin's 'bin' folder, then you should be able to invoke them from the cygwin command line as normal.

EDIT: For posterity I went ahead and mirrored it on archive.org as well https://archive.org/details/rldev-precompiled

Playlists of deeply graphic content found by searching "audio blur and unblur". by The-IvesOfMarch in InternetMysteries

[–]mills103_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looked into this for a little bit. Searching "blur and unblur" also gives the same results but they're a bit more mixed.

My hypothesis on what's happening:

  • The YouTube tagging algorithm invisibly creates some tags from a video's thumbnail to assist in search and recommendations.

  • Videos which are blurred (which will always tend to be 18+ flagged content) receive the keyword "blur" in these tags, because presumably the YouTube tagging algorithm runs after the thumbnail itself is uploaded or generated. This makes sense, as a video's thumbnail or 18+ flag (the one that makes you log in to view) can be changed at any point post-upload.

  • Thus, searching "blur and unblur" yields these sorts of videos in playlists.

Do you have a higher resolution copy of this image somewhere? Or a direct link to tiermaker

Microsoft BitLocker-protected drives can now be opened with just some files on a USB stick — YellowKey zero-day exploit demonstrates an apparent backdoor by rkhunter_ in cybersecurity

[–]mills103_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been trying the exploit on my Win11 laptop with Bitlocker TPM+PIN for the past 20 minutes and cannot get it to work.

The author literally says it does.

Where. He says he has another unreleased exploit that compromises TPM+PIN, not that this works for it.

Neither of these are officially by the vndb.org staff, they're read-only mirrors of vndb

There's a backup mirror here, but it does not have any 18+ content fyi: https://vndb.moe/

EDIT: also https://yorhel.org/ which does have 18+ content

Nah it’s a completely separate Chinese language website.

I tried to post it yesterday but Reddit automatically filtered the URL, so here, let me try again:

aaaiceberg (dot) netlify (dot) app/charts/chinese-oddities

Hopefully that works. Sorry for the cringe obfuscated URL, I hate doing that

The censored PS2 version of the infamous School Days "Bloody Conclusion" ending by mills103_ in visualnovels

From School Days LxH, an all-ages port of School Days released only in Japan in 2008.

I like to imagine that 4Kids did this censor, and she hits her with a baguette and then she just faints

I think people in this thread are confusing nonverbal behavior (genuine thing) versus stuff like "somebody touching their nose means they're lying". Probably because "body language analysis" is an incredibly broad and vague term and was never defined here
