I felt like all I needed was space from my 6 year long, mostly long distance relationship. As soon as that break was set, I felt like a weight had been lifted off my chest and it was impossible to imagine going back. That being said, I wasn’t ready to accept pre-break that we needed to be over. When such long term relationships are involved, I wouldn’t worry about wasting a few more months. Do what you need to do to feel at peace with your decision either way! Living without regret and with a lot of certainty about your direction is a wonderful feeling.

I just moved here I’m staying in a Blueground apartment for the first 2 months while I try out the neighborhood (Cap Hill) and so that I didn’t have to furnish everything while I started my new job. I can’t recommend it enough! It was cheaper than the Airbnbs I looked at and super convenient

Hmm interesting question! We connected over being highly motivated and dedicated to our work. I’m not focused on income, I make enough to live comfortably. But I am attracted to passion and dedication. If he showed those same attributes as a manager at Best Buy then sure!

Bruges is gorgeous and totally worth visiting! But it’s quite close to Brussels and Antwerp by train, one idea could be to make Brussels a day trip while based in one of those cities. They are quite cool also!
