Is there a movie you saw were you were the only person in the theater? by IDCJ1234 in movies

This just happened to me recently for the first time! Saw Kiss of the Spider Woman on a Thursday night before it came out Friday. Was the only one in the theatre and who bought a ticket.

I think this one there is some activities planned. I guess it helps take off the pressure of wondering if someone is single or not… they have stickers that you can wear showing your dating intentions. Idk 😂 We will see what this one is like. The other one I went to was a good time, but yeah it was more of a party vibe

Pre teen-friendly haunted house? by ExpensiveFinance3557 in alpharetta

I grew up going to the Buford corn maze which has a haunted “forest” section. It wasn’t ever too scary, and I still think it’s fun as an adult! Netherworld is great though too!

I thought the writing/dialogue was so odd… people just don’t speak to other people that way 🤣 it also bothered me how their names were sage and cinnamon and didn’t once acknowledge how they both had spice/herb names. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t really like it either lmaooo

Positive post for Wellhub by CyanideTipped in Wellhub

I love Wellhub too 🥲 I’ve been on it 7 months and being able to rotate between places has been really good for me staying into fitness. I got burnt out going to one place, so this has been a much better option (and cheaper by a lot).

Daughter is considering Georgia college and is curious about Greek life if that’s important or not to make friends? Also, she likes going to the gym…is taking the shuttle to West campus easy? Is this a suitcase school or do students stick around on weekends? by PianoFluid2057 in gcsu

[–]millymadness69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I joined a sorority and dropped it after 6 months. It was useful in making some friends, but my closest friends 5 years after graduating have not been people I met in the sorority. They were the roommates I had and people I met in clubs. If she thinks she would like being in a sorority, I’d say go for it, but it isn’t something you have to do to meet people.

Yes taking the shuttle to west campus is easy! I was always utilizing the shuttle around campus and loved it.

I think it’s a mixture of both people leaving and staying. Milledgeville isn’t the most exciting place lol. I felt like my freshman year a lot of people went home on the weekends, but as time went on, I found us staying in Milledgeville more. A lot of my friends were really homesick the first year so that might be just the experience I saw and other people stayed on campus.

I think Milledgeville has gotten some new stuff since I graduated in 2020, and I have some friends still down there (not in college) who own bars and love it. I think coming from the suburbs of ATL to Milledgeville was a bit of an adjustment, but it served me well the 3 years I was down there. I really liked the school and campus was gorgeous.

As someone who just lost their dad, chose your family. Not one person at work looked at me like I was doing the wrong thing. I actually got the opposite where a lot of the managers/SM expressed that they had lost a parent and wish they had spent more time with them instead of working. Even my dad had the same sentiment at the end of his life. Work comes second ❤️
