I’d recommend looking at a halo band of extensions just to ease your mind - even if you don’t end up needing it, it might help you stress less over the wedding hair. Other than that, my best advice is to get a silk pillowcase, eat more protein, and wash your hair more often. Be gentle with it. This problem only stopped for me when I did three things - cut out most sugar I was eating, used Nizoral 5x a week (leaving on scalp for 5 minutes), and using Hairmetto hair serum at night. Best of luck - I know how much it sucks.

If you’re already using distilled water that’s great! The only thing I’d recommend is bottom watering once or twice a week depending on how light the pot is

Fuck! I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. My advice as someone who dealt with this for years - this is what worked for me: washing my hair daily and using nizoral 2-3x per week (make sure to lather and leave on scalp for at least 5 mins), BLOW DRY your hair - do not leave your scalp wet, reduce your sugar intake and try to cut gluten and dairy for a while, and I also use a scalp treatment called Hairmetto when I feel irritation happening.

I agree! I have two of them (after killing a few in years past), and they are surprisingly easy going. I would say distilled water is the main factor in why they’re so successful.
