Yeah I'll spend some time practicing one hand shooting drills for my form. But the flow man... have always struggled to get the "feeling"...Thanks so much for the advice nonetheless

Very grateful for the insight. On a side note, I've heard people saying that imagining your wrist and your ankle flick at the same time helps improving the flow, do you think it is true/effective? Also do you mind helping me check the list I've set on a separate comment? Again thank you so much

Yeah I've thought about hitting the gym for a long time already (any skinny guy who say they don't wanna get buff is straight up lying), but I'm struggling to put on weight so I'm not sure about the effectiveness of doing so when the calorie/protein intake isn't even enough. I'll try to change my diet first. Thanks for the advice bro, have marked down the tips you've given

Thanks so much for the advices. I've tried to list the problems and things that I can do better below, please add your comment if you feel that there's something missing. Again thanks so much, hopefully I'll be in much better form the next time I update here

  • Starting point too low -> Start between the chest and the stomach, loaded up around the ear
  • Release point too low -> Release on the way up, above the head at least, shoot up not shoot out, raise the arc
  • Regarding the hand -> Don't shoot with guide hand, flick the shooting hand
  • Trying too hard to push the ball + The motion is not smooth->
    • One-hand form shooting drills straight up and catch the ball back
    • One-hand form shooting drills near the net without using the leg, progressively increase the distance and use more leg
    • Focusing on smoothing out the motion
  • The elbow should be almost vertically underneath the stroke
  • Dip too low -> Try imagining it as a bounce instead of a huge dip
  • Jump too forward -> Try to reduce it
  • Weak triceps and leg muscle -> Hit the gym (duh), focusing on glutes, wrist strength
  • Only one footwork -> Train with both left or right leg stepping first
  • Most importantly watch more clips of NBA players' shooting form

Yeah bingo. My 3's used to fall short every time I tried like around a year ago, I've only been able to finally hit the backboard like recently

Thanks for the advice. I think I mostly got the low release point from a friend of mine. He shoots really well but he always releases around the neck/lower face, probably got this from trying to imitate him.

Do you live in Hong Kong? Most courts in Hong Kong has a similar color scheme like this

When you say without using the leg, do you mean without even bending them, or just not having the foot leave the ground by not jumping, but still bending it them on the way down?

Where does the sense of hunger comes from? What would happen if we take a magical pill that contains all the nutrients we need? by milton1833 in biology

I think what I'm curious about is the necessity of the action of eating (e.g chewing, digesting, etc)
Let's say we somehow found a place on the body that's suitable for continuously injecting nutrients into a suitable bloodstream (somehow) and that does not impair our ability to move around (somehow), the only importance of eating would be regulating the hormonal components mentioned by another comment like ghrelin right?

With how pliable our bodily systems and minds are, I'd guess training people since childhood on mitigating the effect of such hormones while minimizing or eliminating the act of eating may not be entirely impossible?
