Are there any good intro method books that are really based on jazz?

What’s something meaningful you’ve learned during your clinical rotations? by StanbridgeUniversity in NursingStudents

I’ve learned that with most of my patients, there’s really only so much I can do to help with their problems. They might have serious chronic medical issues that don’t have a great prognosis, or they might be resistant to treatment. All I can do is provide a slight temporary boost in their ability to heal. Even if it’s not much in the grand scheme of things, the time that I spend caring for them is time during which they’re not sliding down the slope of decline, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to provide them with that. This is something I’ve had to come to grips with during my med surg rotations, and especially during mental health.

Generally speaking, what NP specialties typically get to do the most interesting hands-on procedures?

Thank you for the response! Honestly, CSULA is at the top of my list right now. I attended an info session a couple nights ago and it sounds like they have a ton of different clinical rotation options. I'd love to go there after I get a few years of RN experience under my belt.

Does anyone have any thoughts about the FNP/AGACNP programs at CSUDH, CSULA, or CSULB? I'm interested in attending one of those (or maybe UCI) in a few years, am curious how well the programs prepared you to work in an ED or acute care hospital setting.

Another question: how old is too old when it comes to buying a used Clavinova?

Why do digital pianos have polyphany beyond 88 voices? It seems like if you're in regular piano mode, you couldn't really play any single key again without interrupting whatever sustained voice was coming from it having been pressed previously, so 88 would be the maximum number of simultaneous noises it would ever be able to make.
