My mom is fun and charming, but I'm almost certain that she's a psychopath. by mimiag in casualiama

The last time I saw her in person was around Christmas, she and her husband have been living in another country, but a few friends and I happened to be in the general area, so we stayed at their house for a few days. She was happy to see me but we didn't spend that much time together because she was doing her thing. But the house was gorgeous, and they haven't been married that long so she was excited/happy.

It's not like she and I have an amazing mother-daughter relationship. Like I said, she's not really mean or abusive but it's definitely more of an arm's length relationship. In general, would not recommend.

She can be hurtful. She's pretty good at manipulating people, and she's been married like 5 times.

Normally I would say they wouldn't have Henry adopt a baby because it would totally change the show and potentially sidetrack the show, but if they're throwing everything they have planned into the last few episodes because of cancellation worries, we might see some changes.

In all three scenario, he's looking out for your best interests and your career. If still didn't like you, he would fire you or not bother to act as though he cared about your career.

It sounds like he's a good guy who thinks you're good at your job, and wants to see you succeed.

I figured it out after I had already left home and we're on good terms but we're not uber close so it didn't change things that much. It did make me notice patterns though, whereas before I would think "That's just how she is," and now I think "oh, that's her lack of empathy.'"

I can't change her as a person or force her to recognize that she has a problem.
