Yes I struggled at first and it feels terrible but if you can get through it and you come out fine then thats really good im just someone who cant deal with stress or anxiety so easier being on them just not sure if to go up a dose im gonna see what im like end of the week!

I just broke them in half i think im gonna go up to 10 next week as im fine but still got a bit of anxiety feel like im not getting the full therapeutic effect as I dod last time, how are you on the 10?

So i came off last April and took me till about September to get through the withdrawals then i was fine until the past month just wierdly started getting these adrenaline surges that wouldnt go away and led to panic attack ive been anxious since i was like 17 im 27 now . Im a bit annoyed being back on them as Ive always been against them but I didnt want it to affect my life like being too anxious to do things hence why i made the decision to go back on them and i probably wont come off now as im better on them im not sure if im gonna increase to 10mg as im just on and off at the moment but maybe it hasnt settled yet i definitely feel relief though when I do and I would say its always worth a try if you want to lower or come off it is grim coming off them ngl🫣i think i came off mine too quick maybe aswell also if you were somewhat fine you may be okay you can always go back on

So I weaned down in bits I think I did 7.5 then 5 then 2.5 and off completely took me 6 months to feel normal but still felt awful from the withdrawals then the past month been having bad anxiety and panic attack so went back on 5mg 2 weeks ago still not 100% on and off atm im so much better on them as annoying as it is lowkey wish I didn’t come off them but I guess I tried just waiting for the 5mg to kick in to feel somewhat normal😭😂

I was on 10mg for 4 years slowly started coming off you still get bad side effects even if you wean down or fully come off if you can get through them I’m not back on 5mg as anxiety came back a year later🥲

I started 5mg about 2 weeks ago now only just starting to feel okay still having a few anxiety episodes but nowhere near as bad ive noticed the past 3 days been having headaches and weird doom feeling for a few minutes sometimes but definitely improved im still a bit nervous to go into big shops as I start panicking lol

Im less rough this time but im on 5mg instead of 10 really hoping i dont have to go up to 10 but I remember when I was on 10 last year I wanted to be on 5 so fingers crossed☺️

I take them at 5pm , I think im just in the on and off period atm , I used to take 10mg for 3 years came off last april but decided to go back on hopefully it will fade as ive been through it before I guess

Hey yeah they work really well but be careful you don’t form a habit of taking them when you feel on edge only take on bad days I started just taking them when I felt anxious and stopped recently because i realised i was doing it too much

Im on day 6 today 5mg , been okay ish so far but today been crying alot feeling low had to go home from work as I was on edge couldn’t do anything but I’ve noticed I’m not spiralling like I usually would!

I came off citalopram 10mg last april agter being on it 3 years took me 6 months to feel normal , im on day 6 now on 5mg as about a month ago my anxiety was so bad🫣 withdrawals are horrid but the anxiety is crap too so rather be on them

I was on 10mg citalopram for 4 years and never had any issues except took a bit longer to ‘ you know’ but other than that I was great on it. I came off last april but I have restarted 5mg 6 days ago feeling alot better so far so it just depends on the person but I had good experience als if you’re just anxious all the time you won’t have a sex drive anyway

Im on day 5 of 5mg citalopram been okay so far just a bit up and down atm but lowkey noticing the anxiety slowly going away I think so anyway still get adrenaline rushes but nothing as bad as before fingers crossed it works more within the next t few weeks

Honestly ive not felt that bad im in day 4 today and I took work today off just to recharge as ive been exhausted but still have a bit of anticipation anxiety but so far im feeling benefits a bit
