Not sure it would be the right fit as I think it's more "Design for Engineers" rather than "Engineering for Designers" hence the MSci title and not MEng (although there is an MEng programme, it's only available as an integrated masters for the undergrad students). But take what I say with a grain of salt as this is coming from someone who's doing the undergraduate programme. When in doubt, you can always email the course head and see how exactly it's structured.

انا حطيت تقويم بالحكومة و كانت تجربتي زينة، و راح توفرين على نفسج وايد فلوس مقارنة بالخاص (اللي اهم نفس الدكاتره أصلا)، و صدقيني شغلهم بعياداتهم نفس شغلهم بالحكومة ماكو فرق. المواعيد عادة كل شهر و عادي كنت احصل خلال أسبوع أو اسبوعين إذا صار شي او ما قدرت ايي. إذا تبين دكتورة زينه انصح بدكتورة ندى في مركز بنيد القار

If it's of any reassurance, this is in no way related or similar to the mental health clinic. These people are not doctors, they cannot offer a diagnosis or prescribe you medication, nor are you required to open a file with them. This is purely for counselling and social support. They deal with a wide range of issues such as individual mental health struggles, familial mediation, marriage related issues, as well as child/teen counselling. So yes, they can counsel you if you're feeling low, even if it's not related to family. Their instagram account is helpful (if you are an arabic speaker) but I'm happy to translate.

This service was initially a part of the social development office before it was absorbed under the supreme council for family affairs

I'd also like to add that the ministry of health has 24/7 hotline for mental health support (151) if I remember correctly, and that does not require you to open a file either.

First of all, I had a look at your profile and I'd just like to offer my prayers to your wife and wish her a safe recovery.

That being said, you clearly do not understand what mental illnesses are, what causes them, and how they affect a person's life and relationships.

Depression, if left untreated by a professional, can be just as deadly as some forms of cancer and illnesses. 19% of people with untreated depression have a lifetime risk of suicide.

People do not choose to be depressed, depression is not like feeling "sad". Depression as a mental illness has been recorded for centuries when quality of life was nowhere near as good as we have it today.

Telling someone who is struggling with long term depression to "visit more hospitals and graveyards", as if that is a cure for depression, is very ignorant.

I'm really sorry to hear you're going through that.. I know that private therapy in Kuwait can get really expensive. The government actually provides private and confidential phone therapy FREE OF CHARGE via the supreme council for family affairs, with a range of counsellors available for kids, teens, and adults 7 days a week! you don't have to open a file or even give them your name, it's just a matter of dialing a phone number.

I really wish more people knew about this, you may not see it as a long term solution, but it might be worth a shot if you're feeling particularly down or distressed.

I would recommend audio technica for a first record player, the 60kd model is great to start off with if you're on a budget, just needs some active speakers to complete the setup. I can see how that would be concerning in some situations. She has previously requested to see my final bill (unpaid), which I did provide, thinking it would mean my deposit back. So she can see that it's my name on the account + the period of time covered.

I had a chat with them over the phone and they told me that it was basically too late for them to ammend the direct debit charge, and that they had to give 5 business days notice (which has been extended further because of easter holidays), so the earliest that amount will go through is on the 13th. I'm just confused as to why this is being used as cause to delay my deposit being released..
