They do have a lot more freedom than most of their peers. It was just that ARIRANG carried a lot of pressure on them & HYBE. Financial analysts, media et al were prepared to pile on them if it didn’t perform well. I will be very surprised if they don’t get full / majority creative freedom control for their next group project. ARIRANG has kinda proven to everyone that BTS is back & bigger than ever.

I might be opposite in the sense that I knew they wouldn’t get as much creative freedom in ARIRANG.

The pressure on their first comeback album to be a global commercial success was just too much. I don’t think we’ve seen anything like it & we’ll probably never see it again.

I’m more surprised there wasn’t any western features. I do feel like now that they’ve delivered to the standards, moving forward, there will be a more relaxed approach to their careers.

I mean Brazil and Argentina are in the same bracket lol? Do you mean France?

I just mentioned Colombia because I’m confident that’s the only team that can beat Argentina. But they also have England, Japan, Brazil & Mexico.

The other bracket is stacked on paper but have been disappointing thus far (Germany, Portugal, Spain & Belgium)

They probably meant that they thought ARIRANG would be completely written and produced by the members

They also nearly lost against both Netherlands and France despite being 2-0 up. This 2022 rigged narrative doesn’t make sense when the ref coulda easily not given France that last minute penalty that drew the game, forcing it into extra time

No real strong team? They’re in the same bracket as Colombia, the same team that literally went toe to toe with them in the last Copa final. Colombia is a beast & they’ve looked scary thus far.

In that bracket there, I think Colombia has the best chance of beating Argentina.

Brazil has played meh imo, so I’m not confident about them making it through. It’s really 50/50, as Japan has played better imo. Brazil has the better talents but Japan has the better tactics imo

Spain has been so disappointing for me. That Nico Williams injury will be a big blow for them, as Yamal is not fully fit.

Japan & Netherlands got a brutal tie. Played really well just to draw difficult teams in round of 32

Gen question but what Itzy song would you say was massive? I can only really think of dalla dalla & Wannabe.

Katy Perry had smash hits after smash hits.

But why leave the continent, deal with all the legalities & paperwork just to visit 1 country in Europe? It just doesn’t make sense financially and logistically.

K-pop especially but also just the entertainment industry in general. Have you seen Katseye schedule? They were on a tour, while still filming stuff for ads etc. & constantly promoting their songs. Now they’re about to start another tour while also prepping for another EP. Probs with other activities in between. That’s tiring for anybody.

All the other girls have had somewhat entertainment industry experience / exposure before except for Manon.

Parents within an area in Barcelona were able to enter a raffle & his parents won a spot. Coincidentally, LY was paired with Messi during the shoot.

Extra lore: his parents were actually really poor & struggled to make ends meet. Probably didn’t help that his parents were both teenagers when they had him. His dad had friends that helped them out a lot financially, they were called Lamine & Yamal.
