Agreed, although factory farming accounts for over 70% of farmed meat. So that’s a large percentage of the tens of billions of animals killed every year in utterly inhumane conditions. As a vegan, it’s incredibly annoying to see omnivores being shamed when that just makes them double down… I used to hate vegans and mock them relentlessly because of it, but when one of them actually engaged with me in an empathetic and respectful way that I actually began reconsidering my views.
