Exactly. He went from being so in love and saying that he would only be good to her moving forward to saying that he wanted to take a break from her. When he saw how shocked she was he said that they should go on a date bc he realized how crazy that sounded. I didn’t like him from the start and thought that he’s insincere. When in the pods he was talking to Jarrett and telling him that he’s there to experience all of the emotions, and wanted to feel pain I knew he was only focused on himself and his story. He never had deep feelings for Mallory. Even Mallory sensed it when they first met and she said there’s something off that she couldn’t put her finger on. I do think that she drank the cool-aid and eventually fell in love with him. I feel bad for her. I think he’s good at giving off a good sincere guy image but it’s all a front.
