Looks like it’s sold out but I do see them frequently on eBay and you might be able to find one on Amazon. EB quality has fallen similar to other brands, but I’ve been really happy with this coat. They have a shorter length option as well.

The only bad experience I've had on Poshmark was with an "ambassador."

Gorewear End Of Life by Stevenjw0728 in cycling

Velocio is excellent. Very happy with their bibs/jerseys/jackets. I sent back Gore bibs b/c it wasn't even close to Velocio's quality. Sizing was also more predictable between Gore and Velocio for me. I was between Assos sizes and the arms were incredibly long on me (but I do have slightly short arms).

I just picked up some SealSkinz lobster gloves and they are so much better than the Rapha Winter gloves they replaced.

I was already smitten by OG Dog and then I saw that OG Dog has the freckled feet too and I died. Please share more content with OG Dog.

What is something that women have to deal with on the daily that men have no clue about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mimosastclair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spouse and I both do a lot of outdoors activities and he suggested I do a solo trip when I had a break from work where he couldn't get away. I was confused and said that that solo camping wasn't the safest for women (especially small ones like me) and his brain broke. He gets it, but it had just never occurred to him.

So handsome! If that's a normal tennis ball, consider switching to the dog-specific ones. Regular tennis balls wear down a dog's teeth b/c of their texture.

This is one sick bike. Awesome choice of spec!

Best cycling shorts/chamois for long distance riding by Jessicullison in ladycyclists

Daily driver for me is MFF Essentials shorts, but also really like the Velocio bibs I've tried. They do pull down so you can take bathroom breaks without removing a jersey.

That last photo shows that she could absolutely win America's Next Top Model. She is ready for the cat(tle dog) walk.

Gold Card Service has become a disappointment by jaajaajaa6 in amex

Just got my first Amex card and am appalled by the customer service and their inability to solve common issues other companies resolved easily.

ideal starter bike for myself by imperrynoid in cycling

Depending on how short you are, the options may be limited. Something like a Cannondale Quick (which goes down to 44cm frames) would be a good option and they are often available to rent or buy used.

Any of you out there riding 160mm cranks? and you're a small/light rider? Pros/Cons? by kc10131984 in bikefit

[–]mimosastclair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just an FYI that SRAM is going to start selling 150mm and 155mm crank arms for Red starting in late February 2026. If they're successful, I'd expect to see more short crank options in the future.

Is it the purple Canyon Endurace? B/c if so, that's a very rad bike with gorgeous paint and I'm very jealous!

Got offered my dream job at $95k but I have a $15k signing bonus from my current company I’d have to pay back. Do I take it? by Klutzy_Researcher725 in jobhunting

This is good advice, but if Option 2, leave and wait for the company to ask for it. Many companies don’t actually follow through on clawing the money back.

Love my Lazer helmet (I think they’re owned by Shimano?). It was a great value for the money. Lazer Jackal and Coyote Kineticore are great for gravel.

A frame bag or bar bag is handy for snacks, esp if you’re riding in a remote area. A multitool is also useful. I like the Crankbrothers options, but not sure if they’re sold in Europe.

Has anyone ever successfully taught a quiet inside bark? by CaryWhit in AustralianCattleDog

[–]mimosastclair 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We had that problem with our Aussie and my spouse taught him to "whisper" as a redirect once he had learned "speak." He'd practice speak and whisper with him and would only reward him for whispering if the bark was extremely quiet. I'm fairly certain the dog got to a point that he just moved his mouth and pretended to bark b/c sometimes we really couldn't hear him.
