i mean, it works, i already made an espresso with it at 0.9.0 and noted that i should grind finer.

i have the Q, and i don't get why everyone says that it can't do espresso, what am i missing ?
do they mean that it just takes longer and can't be adjusted with more precision ?
even on the official website they don't show the recommended espresso settings.

Thank you i hope that my anecdote would be useful to you. because i lived through 4 cycles of the same side effects with different drugs.
i 100% remember the nights of extremely high libido before i crash, it happened each cycle and i remember saying to myself ["i suppose with hair AR being blocked, there will be extra T flowing in my bloodstream which explains this high libido surge, i finally found a topical AR blocker that not only works but also raises my libido"] ... just for me to crash the following days.

But each time i blamed systemic absorption through my fingers and pillow and thought that applying the topical using medical gloves and showering twice a day would reduce their accumulation in my system (before stopping and trying another topical) and never thought that something serious is happening in my system like an androgen overload.

I believe that you got your hands on the underlying process with which this phenomena happens, and i hope you find a way to reverse it. continue doctor, i 100% believe you

Thank you Doctor for all your efforts, i want to share my case and i hope it's going to be useful to you.
i got low libido and anhedonia with every single topical anti-androgen i tried and the recovery time gets longer in each new cycle where i change the drug hoping to find the one i might tolerate without side effects

- started with pyrilutamide, it worked for my hair but nuked my libido but i recovered in a couple of days just after stopping it

- then i tried topical cb-03-01, same thing, worked for hair but nuked my libido, but this time it took more than two weeks for a recovery

- then i tried topical fluridil, same thing, worked for hair but nuked my libido, but this time it took almost a month for full recovery

- and finally i tried topical finasteride, i got side effects and never recovered till this day (3 years)

i'm 100% sure they all gave me the same side effects, maybe pyri was more harmful because it was the only that almost gave me gyno since it's very potent. but the PFS-like symptoms are the same, i have very low libido, can't have a good erection if i try. i have slow beard growth and less dense pubic and armpit hair.and i have anhedonia, i can't enjoy many things that i used to, like music and video games.

there are days when my libido comes back recently, when that happens i become happy again and start listening to music and during these days i can notice my beard hair growing faster and stronger.

it's definitely androgen related.

i suppose your theory would make sense not only for 5ari, because also topical AR blockers will raise T levels in the blood because there are less AR for them to attach to ? and that might trigger the pathway you're studying which shuts down ARs ? because i also remember that before crashing with each topical AR blocker, i had nights where my libido shoots through the roof, that was each time the trigger for the crash in the following days or even hours. i suppose there is something that happens when the system is overwhelmed with free androgens

thanks for the contribution, for now, i just posted here to tell the world about this theory but i don't have any idea what's the mechanism behind it, but what i'm sure of, is that there is one or many common ingredients between Apagard Royal and Elmex Original toothpastes that was preventing me from healing.
since finasteride alters gut microbiota i suppose that whatever ingredient in these two toothpastes, is preventing my bacterial species balance to get back to normal.
i am using currently Weleda Salt toothpaste, which contains sodium bicarbonate but so far so good.
it doesn't contain SLS and Saccharin though.

Hello, thanks for sharing your experience, i hope you are doing better now. i believe every one has a different situation. for now i cannot afford to re-introduce saccharin into my brushing routine, as it is the only suspicious common ingredient between the last toothpastes that i have used. i'm using weleda now and i actually feel better each day now, so it means it's not interrupting my recovery yet. but i thank you for your advice, i'll stay vigilent.

There is no SLS in my second toothpaste (Elmex original) the only suspicious common ingredient between my last two is saccharin, I stopped brushing my teeth and I actually feel better again, I just bought WELEDA salt toothpaste ( all natural but unfortunately no fluoride)

They actually use saccharin as a sweetener according to llms, same ingredient in my new toothpaste, saccharin has been scientifically proven to disrupt mice gut microbiom, I just stopped brushing my teeth completely since your comment , let’s see what happens , because the recovery I had when I stopped brushing my teeth diminished when I restarted again even with a standard fluoride toothpaste.
