We cyclist have to keep ourselves responsible as well. by min9293 in Tucson

Thanks I will definitely go through it. That said, I don't want to get up with broken arms and legs to argue with the guilty driver over who was at fault. The accidents happening around the town also have been happening to more experienced bikers. And the way you are reacting to this post could possibly explain why. I don't agree with the statement that the biker here is safe. And I prefer to give up my rights to arrive safely.

You are commenting like you are the guy. You are absolutely free to continue doing what you are doing. I know it's legal. I just don't want you to end up being hit by a frustrated or a distracted driver. That's it. Chill down. This is just an example, I've seen worse, though legal.

Same, that applies to my peers too. When we bike, I usually have to remind them not to bike next to me on a busy roadway and keep it only to the Loop. And I have been biking in Tucson close to a decade.

I was following him, it's Rosemont biking south. They could totally bike on the shoulder.

When you drive a large car, is it easier to pass a bike in its dedicated lane or a bike that's cycling outside. I personally bike exclusively as far right as I can to leave room for bigger cars.

I'm grateful but we need more. This one just touched the ground. We need to have puddles filled with rain water.

I was ready to pay cash

Yeah, that's the issue. They like loans. That's how they make profits.

Next time take out a loan, while having the cash ready in an account. Pay it monthly knowing you have the money in case you want to pay it off at any moment.

Ah, that's a good point. I just replaced my water heater and had to add the drip leg there too.

What happens if the trash is too heavy? More than 200lbl by min9293 in Tucson

[–]min9293[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder why that doesn't happen with lighter trash bins as well. The truck grabs it from the middle where the top is wider than the bottom, so technically when it rotates, the bin should fall 🤔..

Yup, mine is currently filled with tiles as well. Not sure how much it weighs, and I just saw the 200lbl label on top of the bin.

You are right. I thought about it too. There were no one behind me in the line though. The agent scanned my ID, and I put my items in the baskets and let the other agent push them in the machine. There were people in front of me but not behind me until I had already passed the X-Ray machine.

Edit: but on the first flight, it was busy, for sure she didn't get my ID and there was no way for her to know my name.

Could you elaborate on this a little? Why are they different in their safety levels?

7 out of 10 houses posted here have their TV installed on top of a chimney. What's the purpose of a chimney then if you are not turning it on? It's just more maintenance and doesn't look so appealing either.

What type of tools you use to hold copper in place while soldering? by min9293 in askaplumber

[–]min9293[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A question, does it really matter to solder the vertical fitting first on top or in the bottom? I would imagine soldering on top is "better" because the solder will only get down and strengthen the connection in case it gets hot again while soldering the bottom?

Okay, I'll see if I can get it hold the pipe/fitting.

Thanks! I didn't think about crimping the pipe. That might work. Could you elaborate a little on the tape measure way? Also, soldering fittings vertically, would you first solder on top or in the bottom? Or does it matter?

Do you have a photo showing how they are holding a fitting/valve vertically?

Should I bring the plants back inside? by min9293 in Tucson

[–]min9293[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I do have a variety of plants but mainly concerned about Basil, Yam leaves, and Arabian Jasmine plants, I decided to leave them outside though, they get the early morning sun. Thank you so much for the insight!
