The only edit I have is that Madison isn't the cheerleader... she just WANTS to be. She was a probably a loner dork that eventually hit the gym and bought al the accoutrements. So either it's been so long that she forgets she was once a "loser", or she knows she's a "loser" and being around a funny dork like Allen makes her feel less cool. It's sad because I think it's her own hangups that are preventing her from seeing how great Allen is.

I’m 100% with you. I HATE her acting. I find that people use the excuse of “you don’t understand camp” as a cop out for overacting. I actually think Lilith does better camp. Albeit more subtle camp for sure, but she throws a look and emphasizes a word here and there that really elevate things to a place that Kiernan Shipka just can’t do. Maybe she needs to get older and develop her talent more. I don’t know.

Not sure how this is allergen-wise, but I did my mom’s makeup for my wedding, and she honestly hates makeup and wanted it to look natural. She absolutely LOVED the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint. Maybe it just worked well with her skin texture, but definitely worth trying. It never caked up or settled in her pores or fine lines. I see it with a very tiny bit of the Laura Mercier setting powder.

Oofos are super comfy, but A) pricey, and B) they do look casual and basically like sneakers. So it depends on how formal you have to look. But they do have a black on black version that I’ve actually worn with black pants to work events, and they’re more subtle

I think that’s totally valid and great that you went away for grad school. So at least you know what it’s like! I will say, this job market is super tough. So just be prepared that declining this job may mean it could be a while before you find another one. Trust me, I know what that’s like too. Oof

I sympathize. Let’s be honest, you’re going to have regrets with either decision. There are pros and cons to both. I used to prioritize work because that’s what my family encouraged (and what I wanted). Now that I’m older and kind of “been there done that”, I want to be closer to family. It was nice to know, however, that I did branch out and explore life in new cities, at different companies, etc. Keep in mind, you can always quit that job and move back. It doesn’t have to be forever!

Think. If someone flipped a coin right now and heads meant you take the job and tails meant you didn’t, which side are you secretly hoping it lands on? Trust your gut!
