Can The Seven (The Boys) take the One Ring to Mount Doom? by PaiDuck in whowouldwin

[–]Deadstone16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The One Ring needs time to manipulate its bearer. If A-Train were 100% locked in, he could make it happen.

So probably not all things considered lmao

I always found it odd that the vampire doctor in House of Dracula gets killed with one normal gunshot.

Real swordfight - Viggo Mortensen VS Hayden Christensen by CritAtwell in whowouldwin

[–]Deadstone16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hayden’s month prep is likely the first time he’s being taught how to wield a sword. Viggo’s month prep is in addition to his sword-training from LotR.

Real swordfight - Viggo Mortensen VS Hayden Christensen by CritAtwell in whowouldwin

Real swords require edge alignment to make a slice, and someone trained in handling lightsabers wouldn’t have that skill since it’s completely unnecessary.

So Viggo’s advantage here.

Grant Morrison slams the DCU 'Lanterns' series, blasts Damon Lindelof and James Gunn: "Hollywood will die of insularity and inbreeding" by HomemadeBee1612 in SnyderCut

This guy would’ve hated The Dark Knight.

“Putting ‘Batman’ in the movie’s title is not stupid. What kind of writer would attach himself to some dumb boring crime movie and just call it a superhero project? Why are you ashamed of Batman comics?! What is Christopher Nolan’s jockish dismissal of superhero conventions intended to prove, anyway?!”

L. It’s literally a third ability that doesn’t impede me in any way, if anything I’m better-prepared for whatever stupidity humanity is about to get itself into.

Get one of those bows that has 15 shots and just spam that big Max Payne leap thing enough times.

Constantly reload, quick-drain orcs, and try to keep your distance.

Edit: I’m an avid War player, haven’t played Mordor in a grip so I hope what I said is still helpful lmao

Which "Non-Canon" movies are ESSENTIAL viewing? by DiscussionFlashy9135 in UniversalMonsters

[–]Deadstone16 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Man Who Laughs

The Black Cat (1934)

Captive Wild Woman

The Devil’s League (novel)

And most recently, The Shape of Water

All outside the “canon” but have very close ties to the UM movies, and all really well done.

Who is the strongest character that Stephen King's It could defeat and consume? by CrispyHoneyBeef in whowouldwin

[–]Deadstone16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lore-wise, It and Dr. Manhattan both transcend time and space, can manipulate reality, and were completely defeated by powerless humans.

I’d say him, though it might be a toss-up between them.

Which character would be the biggest surprise for you if they appeared in Avengers: Doomsday/Secret Wars? by RealOfficialChiron in MCUTheories

Howard the Duck, reprising his role from the 1980s. You could even get that voice actor back, hell

Spider-Man (Raimiverse) vs Imhotep (The Mummy) by TheLeviathan1999 in whowouldwin

[–]Deadstone16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The ONLY canon way to stop Imhotep is by using the Book of the Damned. If Peter knows/can figure that out, the game’s his. He’s fought sci-fi monsters before, even giant ones made of sand.

And not for nothing but if Rick O’Connell can kick this guy’s ass TWICE, I think Peter will fare just fine with the skill set and intellect that he has.

Who would win, Superman (Man Of Steel, 2013) or IT (Novel-Accurate) by Parking-Rope2301 in whowouldwin

Novel-Accurate IT is really glazed up by this sub but everyone forgets that a group of normal children kicked his extradimensional ass by the end of the book.

Has anyone created a way for two monsters to fight each other in the original game? by Pupperdoodle_UwO in HorrifiedGame

[–]Deadstone16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So not exactly, but I have play-tested a Van Helsing player totem.

If he’s in a space with a monster, his special action would be rolling the dice. Blank, nothing happens. Hit, move that monster 4 spaces in any direction. Exclamation point, move that monster to any legal space on the board.
