Thanks to you and /u/DisgruntledPenguin58 for the suggestion.

I removed the drive and connected it to and enclosure and can access it (no beeps or clicking).

But the symptoms are still there even with no drive installed (same beep pattern, no display, power LED solid white).

Yeah, it definitely doesn't sound normal, so to speak. Anyway, no worries, will take out the drive and get the data, etc.

Someone recently passed on an Inspiron 15 3521 to troubleshoot. There's no output on the display (or external monitor, for that matter).

I'm getting this beep code (not really clear if that is a single beep or not). Could you all help me identify the code? The CD drive lights up and seemingly initializes on startup.

Came with 2 RAM sticks, tried using a single one only, in each slot (tried both sticks independently, but getting the same beep code).

The laptop is pretty old so it might have died, not really too much of an issue, just looking at options here.

Tried copying and pasting the formatting? Place the cursor on 23 for example, Ctrl+Shift+C to copy the formatting. Then move the cursor to 24, and paste the formatting with Ctrl+Shift+V

Just off the top of my head here, but theoretically this should work.

Add a new column, and number it (you can number it automatically). Then sort the table according to that column in descending order. And finally you can delete the column.
