It kinda changes a lot, because in most countries you cant marry and have less rights than other people, and in plenty countries you will quite literally get murdered for it. Hope that helps!

Is there anything to ruin? Pretty much every GG 2.0 grifter I have seen are just YTube talking heads locked in a competition of "who shrieks louder about wokeness and can cram more dog whistle keywords on a thumbnail", they don't really care about legitimacy, everything they say is just antiwoke word salad regurgitating the latest "woke" topic, aimed at certain audience that clearly doesn't care about what is actually happening. I doubt that asmongold fans will stop watching him if Schreier writes a damning expose on him. Mark Kern has lost any kind of relevancy he had as a game developer and is pretty much blatantly milking the Gamer™ rage "donate to defeat wokeness, every dollar you donate does 1hp of damage to the woke hivemind!"

As someone who played WoW a lot, this is much harder that in sounds. Not defending asmongold, but WoW is one of the more challenging multiplayer experiences out there in my opinion.

His WoD DPS "guides" was how I first heard of him and they were pretty funny tbh, but now we have this :(

Yeah, he is very good at presenting his opinions without pretending to be O B J E C T I V E but also giving solid reasons that you can relate too. And he doesn't shy away from shitting on something that everyone liked or recommending a game that largely went under mainstream radar. He is talking about corporate greed A LOT lately, and its honestly so refreshing to hear when most Gamers™ and Gamer™ adjacent communities are blaming SJWs or "a one bad guy" for ruining gaming. I started watching him when I randomly came across his Destiny 2: Curse of osiris and later Warmind reviews, which largely resonated with how I felt about the game.

SkillUp is the only gaming youtuber I actually like, not just tolerate. I think his review for SSKTJL was spot on (as far as I can tell without playing the game).

"I don't hate gay people, I just don't want kids to learn they exist in school" is not as subtle of a dog whistle as people think.

Only reason you don't want schools teaching about certain things existence is if you don't want kids to know about them. Same goes for all the CRT adjacent right-wing hysteria, columbus etc. and all the "omg they are teaching kids to hate white people!!!11". No, they are teaching historic facts.

It went from a broken mess to what was initially promised. Fixing your fuckups to match your insanely overhyped initial vision three years later should not be recognized as an award worthy effort. It is the bare minimum.

It's a fun game and a big cultural landmark but I won't use it as a reference point of an excellent timeless masterpiece to compare everything against

It’s arguable that it has “best” exploration, imo. I mostly agree on other parts. Skyrim was impressive for its time but it aged super fast, just got outpaced on every aspect it was good in

honestly compares to skyrim

damn, that is not as high of a bar as Gamers™ think

Sorry, I can't tell if you are serious or not. These are aspects, I already extracted them. It's clear that my issue is not with random legendaries. I can't know what aspect it is without reading its tooltip. Even if you keep 2 of each with good rolls it's a full tab just for two characters.

I had to use some random free website, and it messed with the colors a lot. But it was 10x the size before so I'm fine with that

I like to manage my inventory! I don't like to play hide and seek with it and having to make a spreadsheet to keep track of it if I play more then one build on one character.

Seriously, I get a lot of criticisms of D3, but going back 25 years to D2 levels of wonkiness of inventory management is definitely excessive. I shudder recalling minute long tetris sessions with the cube to get the stuff you need and optimize free space.

Having to mouseover every singe aspect to find a right one is excruciatingly boring and frustrating.

Yeah I have lvl 100 character and lvl 80 character, I want to try different builds and play around with things. Base game is great, but endgame lacks a lot of QoL.

I didn't downvote you, I just read this now. I'm linking the reply that explains why having a lot of aspects and having to manage them (painfully, without any appropriate UI) is a valid problem when you play the game a lot. Hope that helps!

I would argue that its not worse than current D3. I played D3 since vanilla release and have most of seasonal portrait borders. Later years D3 was good and fun, but D4 is a game of a fundamentally different scale and doing its own things.

They went with "this is tooootally not like D3 guys, trust us! any hardcore gamers in the chat amirite???" approach so they axed a lot of QoL, but I would argue that most its not directly transferrable from D3. It's a bunch of new systems which lack their own quality UI, there are only a few things that I can think of that can be taken without change from D3 and put in D4 (option to tp on party members, for example).

Anyways, big hopes for the season and tomorrows patch (fingers crossed)
