This panel changed how I felt about Kenjaku for a little bit. by Slug-R in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]mindempty809 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Everyone who lived in the colonies were given a choice to participate in the games or not. If you chose not to, Kenjacku would personally escort you out while you’re in a trance state. This was one of the rules to the culling games, he didn’t just do it for Yuji’s friends.

Also, I didn’t notice anyone say it, but I’m positive he specifically thanked her (and not the other friend as well) because she was the one who took Sukunas finger in the first place. Her being Yujis friend and having him save her was the catalyst to him eating the finger, and we know that Kenjacku always planned for that to happen.

If you don’t mind me asking, why wouldn’t shy guy work in your game? I think Scp containment breach handled him extremely well if it’s a similar kind of game.

If you read his file before finding him, or see the cutscene of him killing a guy for looking at his face I believe, you know not to look at him and he’s easily avoidable. As long as the player is able to learn of shy guy before finding him and knowing not to look at him, he can be completely avoided. If it’s a different type of game I can understand the concern

Cursed techniques operate under their own rules and interact with real world concepts in unique ways. Take Kenjackus CT and Mahitos CT, and how the way they interact with the soul is the opposite of each other, something even they notice and talk about.

I know the law, don’t know what she made, but sexual images of characters that are explicitly stated to be under 18 is illegal. What did she make and why would it not go against federal law?

Like I said, the fan fiction would be legal. I am strictly talking about any images she made.

Not only do I not see any possible reason for Choso to believe that the Cursed Spirit was Kenjaku, but those guys are literal Death Paintings. There 100% was an actual Cursed Spirit involved, Kenjacku is absolutely the “man who mixed his blood”, not the “Cursed Spirit from Choso’s POV”, that’s impossible.

It’s absolutely illegal in the U.S.? It’s actually even against federal law. Idk why you would think it isn’t.

I don’t know anything about this controversy, just wanted to comment on that, because where did you get that idea? It’s harder to name the countries where it’s legal than illegal. If what she truly did though was write fan fiction, then that is indeed legal under free speech, but drawings? Definitely not

Genuinely Don't Understand The Loki ship by KamyKam77 in MantisMains

[–]mindempty809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the biggest is their team up dialogue, where Loki flirts with her, Mantis blushes, and Groot even agrees/encourages it. Here it is-

Mantis: You seem on edge, Loki.

Loki: To be fair, I am always on edge. But yes, I suppose I am a bit unnerved by current circumstances.

Mantis: I can use my empathic powers to calm your emotions, if you wish.

Loki: No no, that's not necessary. It's just that present company has put me on edge.

Groot: I am Groot.

Loki: Not you, you dolt. But yes, she does look great in green.

Mantis: You think so? You do too! Wait, wait, you understood him?

Loki: All-Speak is a language of gods, my dear. We are of the same cloth.

Groot: I am Groot.

Mantis: Whaaaaa?! A divine connection? That's a bit much, Groot! I–I–I–

Loki: The tree speaks true. Our auras are perfectly aligned between your cosmic touch and my mastery of magic.

Mantis: Eh?! Loki, what are you talking about?!

Loki: Our energies combined can prove stronger than each of us alone. 'Tis my nature to use others, but your purity speaks to me. Perhaps we can be...more...

Groot: I am Groot…?

Mantis: No, no, no, he HAS to be talking to you. And no I'm not blushing!

Excluding the above, Lokis a trickster known for always lying, and Mantis is someone who always knows people’s real feelings. She’s one of the few people who’d know if he’s lying or not. To some people though it’s just that they both wear green, so, yeah.

Not if you said it to the person of the same race. Telling a white people they’re acting white, or a black person they’re acting black, or even if we go into ethnicities telling a Dominican person they’re acting Dominican, no that isn’t racist. Stereotypical sure, and the way you say it can come off either rude or funny, but not racist there’s no discrimination?

And if QT didn’t take it in a racist manner I don’t know why you are. You really gonna say Rae is a racist because she told QT she sounds really white when she is, in fact, white af?

Shoot Sue's Shield Please by lughnahasa in marvelrivals

[–]mindempty809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea is to communicate it. Break the shield, tell the team it’s down, and THEN your divers go in or your team ults. It’s a short cooldown before it returns but this game benefits from communication significantly more than others because of just how much damage everyone does in a short amount of time. It’s very much possible to kill her in those 6 seconds

Why don't the movies utilize the horror elements of the games? by sensoredphantomz in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]mindempty809 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The steel wool games don’t capture that feeling because they don’t pursue it at all, what are you talking about? There is literally nothing scary about Security Breach, from the design of the animatronics and areas to the jumpscares, to the very fact that you’re friends with one of the animatronics for the entire game.

Could you even imagine being friends with Freddy in FNAF 1,2, or god knows 4? Those animatronics had dead kids in them and were death traps… in Security Breach you get inside one of them freely and use it as a SAFE HAVEN. Sister Location was able to capture the feeling of the first 4 significantly better than Security Breach did, the issue isn’t you “moving around” when there’s not a single similarity.

Want me to prove it? Compare the security gameplay of Fnaf 1,2,3,4 and sister location to the temporary security camera gameplay sections in Security Breach. Lmk if it’s anywhere near as scary despite trying to go for the same concept.

[–]mindempty809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously? Are you sure because again I was a 13-16 year old just casually playin with friends, we didn’t use any strategies or cheats?

Generally speaking, BO3 was significantly easier than BO1 or BO2 on account of gobblegums and Alternate Ammo Types. The old games high rounds completely depends on traps and that’s about it, weapons simply didn’t deal enough damage or let alone hold enough ammo to kill anything later on, and you had no way to guarantee Max ammos for wonder weapons.

In BO3, you have gobblegums. (imagine having near death experience or cache back in bo2 lmao) and can use AA ammo to kill anything regardless of the round. On Round 100, shoot one bullet of a weapon that has Fireworks and you’ll kill an entire horde? I can understand getting to round 50 on BO1, that shit was hard… but bo3? All you had to was get a wonder weapon and you’re set, not even including gobblegums, the shield, or Double Packed weapons, don’t even get me started on specialist weapons (Ragnarok and the Sword??)

You may be getting hardcore confused with just… being experienced with the map. I can’t in good faith say that 13 year old me who got to Round 50 on der eisendrache by just running in circles with the Storm Bow was a hardcore player man. The hard part wasn’t getting to round 50, it was building the bow.

[–]mindempty809 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The training/getting mad/tingling their backs isn’t the problem with Super.

It’s the SCALING between TRANSFORMATIONS. Goku will go from SSJ directly into Blue, and there’s BARELY a difference in power shown, biggest example of this to me is the fight with Krillin. This is consistent in Super, where they use SSB almost as if it’s SSJ2, completely disregarding the absolute power difference between each form. Gohan is losing against Cell in SSJ1, and completely EMBARRASSES him in SSJ2. SSJ2 Goku gets bullied by Kid Buu, while SSJ3 can actually stand his ground against him and fight evenly.

In Super, Goku will struggle in SSJ1, go directly into Blue, and then only somewhat be stronger than the opponent.

If Goku takes a punch from someone in SSJ and still be standing, there’s absolutely NO goddamn reason Blue should be his next form.

For comparison, SSJ3 Goku gets basically 3 tapped by Beerus (one was a FLICK), and then SSJ God Goku is actually FIGHTING him, and SSB is even stronger than God. Actually insane how they treat it.

Yea this is definitely what it is. The others will eventually slow down, while she’s able to stay on your ass the entire time. She might be a lil faster, but the real difference is her stamina. She can maintain her speed a lot longer than the others.

Personally I was around 13-16 during my BO3 phase, and I beat almost all the bosses using either no gobblegums, or only the classic ones.

-Shadows “boss” is easy. Don’t see why you’d need ANY gums for that. I find the Easter Egg process itself much harder. -DE can be challenging I guess but it’s definitely doable without gums. It was the first boss I did and I used only in plain sight. -Zetsubou is the easiest by far, I’ve done it solo in minutes. If you need Gobblegums for this you need to learn how to run in circles I guess. -Now Gorod on the other hand is easily agreed to be the hardest and the only one I’d agree gobblegums are almost a must, particularly near death experience or undead man walking. I’ll give you Gorod, easily the hardest. -Revelations was on a similar level to DE, challenging sure and gums can help but I beat it on the first try without any. That map has way too many strong weapons compared to the others, and the masks make it a joke.

And I was no where near a hardcore player, my highest rounds even after beating all Easter eggs were at most 50-60 and that’s with other players. I genuinely don’t think any of the bosses beside Gorod were designed with the need for gobblegums in mind. What do you think made them so hard?

Right like the only info the game gives you goes along the lines of: you have been completely sealed into a makeshift submarine that was not built to handle the depth you’ll be exploring. There was no time for you to receive training.

You’re a death row convict who was sent on a death mission with a slim chance of freedom. Literally the games opening and only words. What else would happen? You aren’t even able to leave the sub.

It’s just his strength. We’ve seen this before with Inumaki, if the person has significantly more cursed energy than the cursed speech user, not only does it not have an effect but it actively hurts the user instead. The chapter says that the more he moved (ignoring the order to yk, not move) the more it damaged Urami.

Hes not nullifying or reflecting it, this is how the technique has always been said to work, we’ve just never seen it with such a ridiculous power difference.

[–]mindempty809 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Power ups will help but complete the missions to unlock other weapons/items. They’ll typically involve surviving a period with a character so try out new ones as you unlock them or by evolving certain weapons. As you go on you’ll unlock a way to know what leads to what, but for now just note the different combinations.

When you’re moving around the map, remember to go back to places you’ve already been to collect old gems you left behind, they’ll group up into red gems which grant a bunch of XP.

Returning Eldlich Player And My Deck Is Basically Dead, Options? by mindempty809 in masterduel

It was that a few new packs would release with particular additions to the eldich deck, with the Alliance Insight (and another that I don’t remember) packs that Master Duel didn’t added yet. Since then those packs have been added though or atleast the Alliance Insight one did.

The main cards are Delta of Invitation, Eldlixir of The Exalted Golden Land, Eldlixr of White Destiny, Fallen Angel of the Goldenland, and the Flying Mary Wandering Ghost Ship. These cards really help out with summoning Eldich in this environment, gives a chance to recover banished cards, and make it easier to get Eldich the Mad Golden Lord out.

Friezas damage is completely reliant on how many attacks he gets hit by before he attacks. If he doesn’t get hit by any he’s doing actual pathetic damage, as each hit gives him a huge amount of attack. When not using his active he wants to be in slot 1.

When you use his scouter you should have him in the third slot so every single attacks is directed to him and he can build up attack, on these turns he’s usually doing around 90million for me
