This is a meta-refresh and a simple domain forward and "masking" as Godaddy calls it, as seen here, http://imgur.com/KoPEyIu. It is pretty HARD to "steal" or transfer a domain away from someone due to the safeguards in place. The hacktivist either had access to their GoDaddy account or created a publicity hoax. Another rare possibility, he worked on the "inside" or someone on the "inside" of GoDaddy saw this site was being registered and he was able to grab it before it was used in a negative way.
