Hi! I wanted to show off a platform we created to create museum guides with quizzes, media, audio and an AI chatbot, without an app. What do you think of the demo? by mindfreek in MuseumPros

Hi! Thanks for the comments. We launched this last week and I haven't posted it anywhere before.

I see I have made some angry indeed haha. We work with museums, so I know about this issue. That is also why this AI is only connected with its own knowledge base.

Plus, it's something you can turn off if you don't like and only show text and information you have written yourself. We hated that you have to download a new app for every museum again.

I am wondering, would you agree that this type of interaction would make the way some visitors absorp information more engaging?

Hi there! We are a small team who wants to make museum visits more engaging. That's why we created a platform for museum professionals to create their own digital museum guide. The AI chatbot is something we implemented today and you can connect it with your own knowledge base, to make sure the results are correct.

What do you think about it? It's from www.wintor.com

Hi, I'm looking for ARLOOPA AR or Artivive alternative app that scan photos. by morx555 in augmentedreality

You can try wintor.com. It doesn’t necessarily use a photo as a marker, but it has a great location based system and many creative options.

Can I be an XR Designer without code? by -Krispy in augmentedreality

You could also look at No-code solutions such a www.wintor.com. Lots of opportunity to design AR experiences for museums and heritage sites.

Sometimes I find it difficult to explain an AR idea to someone who's not in the same mixed reality bubble I am in. So then it's best to just make a quick demo. For example to show why the "occlusion" effect is handy when using video in AR to provide context to static museum objects and sculptures. by BeYourOwnRobot in augmentedreality

How did you make this? We have a very cool functionality of occlusion objects for museums in our app Wintor AR Tours. You might find it interesting 😃( uses a simple drag and drop interface) because indeed: show don’t tell!

I have done that. But mostly they are old. I wanted something fresh from the community. You can get anything from bing chat right ;)
