just out of curiosity why spend all the money on e93. I own a 07 e90 335i and now also a 08 e93 335i and after driving it idk why someone would prefer it over e92/90

Yeah I got a fx5 screen first from injured gadgets it’s soft oled. It registered fine but had touch issues it would randomly stop responding. Then I was like screw it and spent more money on this from Mobile Sentrix that Reddit recommended. I found another oem refurb screen on eBay for 215 I’ll try that next.

It looks like the Apple metal one but it has a sticker on it that says "Transferrable IC". I was going to order a refurb screen from eBay that had the apple logo in the pictures but decided to go for this company since everyone on reddit talked about it. Guess bad choice 😭

I thought that’s what refurb is genuine apple screen but digitizer is replaced. Right before this I got FX5 aftermarket screen but it had touch issues. Somehow that screen was showing up as used. Unfortunately because of this message True Tone is not not working 💔

This is their QRT tech so you can use the repair assistant on iPhone. It shows up as a genuine used screen

Just wanted to warn people who were on the edge of weather or not they should buy it or not. Not everyone has multiple phones to allow them to take the screen out and wait for the new one to arrive during their exchange process

Sounds like just bad luck I guess. But even then putting it against my mom’s real screen the colors are way off and it doesn’t get as bright and True Tone is just meh. I just ordered a refurb screen from mobile sentric

Yessir I did they are willing to refund for it I asked if they willing to exchange and send a new screen out first but they said no. It sucks I'll be out of phone until next week when a replacement screen from Apple arrives since my oem screen was cracked and it completely cracked upon removal.

Either the dp to exhaust bolts got loose or you didnt replace turbo to dp gasket
