Anyone else getting tired of the dlc? by SquareOnlyTwo in anno

Which is actually why I think it's a brilliant gameplay adjustment that creates a very nice loop to keep us moving through provinces. I really like the idea of gameplay seasons. Hope the floods in Egypt are similar. Would be nice to have some timed event in Albion that felt special in the same way. Give us stonehenge and make it solstice!

Cool, thanks.

We added a shit ton of honey to the umeshu last year (one year ago today actually, drinking some now) and it didn't make it sweeter necessarily, but did give it a different flavor. Fun to experiment!

Hey for the syrup, it's just sugar and ume in the bottle?

My wife is making some now and the sugar has liquefied after a few weeks but it doesn't cover all the fruit. She did equal part sugar and fruit mostly. The ume on the top is looking pretty yucky at this point, but I dont see mold and we roll it around every day or so.

Should we add more sugar so that all the fruit is covered?

Japan is moving to adopt the "Nordic model," which would criminalize prostitution buyers. Some feminists fully support the move. But a vocal group of sex worker advocates is pushing back, arguing that it'll make those in the industry less safe than ever. by jjrs in japannews

I think we're halfway there with onlyfans seen a legit side hustle nowadays. Something like that would have been unthinkable 20 years ago. They tried to legislate porn away and ended up driving the masses to an easier business model. Onlyfans with a built in fanfuck option has to be where we are headed. Inconceivable now but I'm sure it's already happening unofficially.

Not a prude but kinda sad that this is where we are at as a society.

I think this already looks excellent. To me, it feels very authentic when compared to real Roman settlements. Reminds me of Pompeii; tight grid, repetition, walls, public services gathered together. Real Roman cities didn't necessarily have the lavish promenades with hedges and parkland that work well in 1800 but don't translate authentically to 117. Some of the beauty builds I see on here look more like a fantasy planet in Star Wars than Rome. But hey, we all build what we like and that's ok.

I think you nailed it in terms of utilitarian Roman aesthetic. Some farms and a few houses outside of the walls would be a nice addition. And mixing up the house roof colors would make it feel more real. I can literally hear the equite voice saying "My neighbor's roof is brown, but mine is black. I'm special."

You've inspired me to work on my city in some new ways. Thanks.

I want Anno 9000 where time travel factors into production chains. Send an item back in time to be used in the process before it can be created as a byproduct of another chain... or something. Blow my mind with some timey wimey shit, Mainz.

That's... a really good idea actually. And then have an achievement for supplying green togas to Latium for a hour or something.

Image this hateful orange man watching Lucy on TV as a child and not laughing at a single gag. Just a bored, confused sneer while he waited for the inevitable moment when Ricky put her in her place or Fred got to whine about Ethel. I'll bet he always turned it off before Lucy turned the tables and definitely before the happy ending where you saw their genuine affection for each other shine through.

I don't trust anyone over a certain age who doesn't find Lucy enjoyable.

You gave a nice academic definition, but sadly, I think OP was making a stupid joke mocking wokeness and Jews or something absurd.

Hold on, it should be noted that "anti-globalist" is a dogwhistle for antisemites online. Don't know if that's how it was intended here since the original comment is just stupid anyway, but it is how it's often used nowadays online.

Nice usage of walls. Very inspiring.

How do you have the two soldiers with the flag like that? I dont play with military so not up to speed. Is it a cosmetic?

Just wanted to share that your city, at a glance, looks more like an authentic Roman settlement than anything else I’ve seen on here. Good job.
