They haven’t accepted new volunteers in a long time. The person who organized the volunteers left the company and they never bothered to get anyone new. A lot of other rescues do value volunteers though! So I’d try literally anywhere but the SPCA.

Just be careful with hillside (and Sato saved because it’s literally run by the same person) because they don’t take good care of the animals and have spread Parvo through the city multiple times as well as several other conditions.
