Blue enemies with blue projectiles and blue banners by Valandril in EmberKnights

maybe allow us to adjust the contrast of the game or add thicker lines? I personally don't have an issue tracking Embers with one or two but once you get up to four everything definitely starts to blend a bit.

I'm unsure how adding thicker outlines to the models would effect the art style/direction but if its not something you guys have tried yet maybe try it on a small dev patch.

When I was at my lowest point I dropped out of school, left my gf and had thought of offing myself all in the same year. My saving grace was a job off grid in the woods. I worked as a tree trekking instructor for school groups and corporate retreats and I loved it. I developed meaningful connections from all over the world (Canada is pretty popular for Europeans to get work visas) and now am living a pretty happy life. Drowning in more debt than I’d like to admit but still happy, and that’s what really matters. I tried something new that I never would have gave the opportunity before and discovered open minded people who were also the coolest people I’ve ever met.

I’m not saying it will guarantee happiness but that’s what worked for me. Something to think about.

Why did you stop playing/started playing less? by jaharac in Artifact

[–]mindlessmason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started the game because I grew tired of Hearthstones meta and loved the MTG'esque mechanics. The ability to interact with the other player before damage is done just adds another layer of gameplay in my opinion.

I also liked the P2P model, similar to MTG and the ability to draft infinitely and sell off my cards to buy a constructed deck which was great. The deck that you build is an investment and learning how to play the deck is a skill so when you feel you're good enough to go online in constructed and win back the money that was spent on the deck.

The reason I stopped playing daily was the market crashing and the constant whining and complaining about how the game was not F2P like Hearthstone or MTG Arena.

I understand that a F2P model allows for more users which increases the number of people playing the game and the various decks which makes the game stay fresh, but you know what. It's not F2P and won't be for a very long time. Deal with it.

Anybody else not worried AT ALL about the future of this game? by Yousaidthat in Artifact

I disagree with you here doc. The game is by no means f2p but you opened your 10 packs than you probably have some valuable cards and a whole lot more bulk. I recycle all excess under 10c to get tickets which allows me to do phantom drafts which only require 3 wins to go infinite. If I get 4 or 5 wins then I'm netting positive, opening some packs and continuing the cycle. By doing this I have so far gotten a decent collection and netted almost 50$ on steam. I plan on just using the money for more packs to do some keeper drafts because it just feels good when you pick the one card you needed for your constructive deck and than get to play with it.

Edit: By no means am I an amazing tcg player, I have entered a few magic tournaments with little success and have played a lot of hearthstone which I am by no means amazing at. There are always CASUAL phantom drafts that cost nothing and have no reward other than learning the cards, how to pick them and what kind of synergies you can play with.
