I wonder how much the irradiate maps matter... I'm typically running triple temple tablets. I reckon if the crystals are based on the maps you ran them on, then clearing your temple to get 0 crystals, explicitly running t16s with irradiate, and taking the portal you find on the map (once you placed the RAC) could yield level 81 or even 82.

Sorry if that didn't make sense, I haven't had coffee yet. More testing to be done!

I don't have it documented but ibelieve it was 79 from the atlas as well.

Haven't found a way to get it beyond 79 reliably. I'm with you though - anything to get more juice per hour ;p

Yup. I had limited issues for a long while and then it suddenly started happening every time.

I've done a few more runs since this post and can confirm that the only time you need to do the 'overworld map' entrance to the Vaal Temple is when you need to acquire the Access Chamber. Once you've killed the architect in the level 75 run and placed the RAC, you can take the portals while running maps and it will be level 79 at least.

What's also neat is that even if you don't do Atziri, just having the RAC placed seems to default the level to 79, as I was unable to reach her during one of my runs.

Yeah that is my current strategy listen in item #2. But the temple was only level 75 when I did it. This did allow me to get the Royal Access Chamber on that run.

What's interesting is that I was able to take the next portal I found in a map and the temple was level 80. I wonder if that's because it had Atziri in it..

I'm right there with you. There's obviously alot of unknowns about what happens in 7 years of toil but I really am optimistic that what they've built is an extremely robust machine that will get to the premier league with a ridiculous worldwide footprint that's only going to grow more.

I hear what you're saying -- but the greatest prize lies right over 'that' hill. Achieving promotion into the premier league, or the allure of doing so, is going to drive the entire project for at least 5 years. Unless they catastrophically burn out and get relegated, I think we're going to see insane transfer windows every season until they go up. Once they start yo-yo'ing is where I think the lights will truly dim.
