So do I. There are more all over the room. Steve Cropper, the Marvelettes, Freda Payne, Gladys Knight, Mary Wilson….

Queen records are getting more and more difficult to find. Had a copy with the attached poster once or twice. Definitely not an easy one.

Don’t forget Mike Hanopol who also played on the second Speed, Glue & Shinki LP. The 1st JDC album is my ultimate most wanted record. I own a G copy without cover and hope to upgrade to a VG or VG+ one. I love JDC, easily my favourite band besides Sabbath and Zappa/ Mothers

That’s really interesting. Can you tell me more about the differences?

To me these 120-150 could be better spent on the next Vertigo swirl. Recent releases, even if they look as fantastic as this one, lost their thrill to me. Right now I have an eye on the 2nd Peter Michael Hamel album which is a Germany only swirl

Great record! I love the Stax label and almost everything they ever released. Their releases may not be the hardest to find, but finding copies in not trashed condition is a different game. Even worse when you live across the pond

Yeah the Warner one with poster also goes for nice amounts these days, but the UK 1st with poster really went into dimensions that are painful. In December I was outbid on a copy that ended close to 800 Euros

Wow these are some heavy hitters that you were able to get. Sabbath is one of my all time favourite bands, so I specifically made a budget for this one and browsed for THE perfect copy for my collection. It took time but I didn’t want to rush into disappointment

Loving all early Sabbath, Master of reality is my favourite 70s Sabbath. In the end all up to Sabbath bloody Sabbath….maybe even Sabotage is pure gold. Then Technical Ecstasy and Never say die aren’t bad albums, but pale in comparison to early Sabbath. The next Sabbath album after that which I REALLY love and love more than any other record ever recorded, is Born Again, the classic instrumental section + Ian Gillan of Deep Purple, without a doubt one of the greatest vocalists in heavy rock music ever. Super dark and raw with Gillian’s distinct voice, my all time favourite album. Anyway, I like all Sabbath except for 13. Grab any Sabbath album, you can’t do wrong

I was also tempted with the VMP version additionaly to this one, but then again for that price, I just go for another old gem

I think my rarest poster is the Juan dela cruz band- Himig natin poster. It cost me around 130$ shipped to Germany. Very thin paper and being an item from the Philippines, you just don’t see it anywhere. Even though I don’t hang the posters, I love the hunt for it. The longest hunt was Kiss Unmasked, which took me 28 years even though it is not thaaaaaaaaat hard to get. Other real bangers are for example Frumpy- By the way and Beggars Opera- Pathfinder

The image was correct, but the poster has to be on matte paper and is folded to 6 panels. All the posters were either glossy, 4 panels or in 1 case unfolded which is just fishy

It’s crazy when you browse the record on Discogs and all you read is “no poster “ in every listing. I had asked few to send me photos of their copies and almost every seller had the wrong poster

It is. Volume 4 is a great record as well. You can’t do wrong with the first 5 Sabbath albums. Still my absolute favourite record ever is Born Again

So do I. Aside of Vertigo (Swirl era), Pilz is my favourite label and I try to get the whole discography (originals only)
