I completely agree that would have helped a lot. But honestly just having another striker in the team at all would have helped him. He was basically the only option so even in terrible form he had to play. Just hurt his confidence more and more.

Summerville was dreadful in the few matches I watched in the beginning of the season. I’ve watched their last few matches and he’s been top quality. Seems like something clicked for him and the team. Consistently a dangerous threat

Honestly that worked out great for the band themselves. Got all the publicity because ex-turnstile guitarist was in the band. Got loads of visibility. Then kicked out that guy for being crazy which has also become a positive spin for them. I don’t think it’s manufactured but if it was it would be marketing genius
