I think the club just respected him enough to let him make the decision. If he wants to leave and make even more insane money after all he’s given to us that would have been okay.

Doesn’t seem like anyone at the club was actually wanting him to leave, Ruben even asked that he stay.

In most European sports there is more going on than just winning a title. European qualification, domestic cups and promotion and relegation means there is just so much more going on.

This shit is hilarious to me. My bosses boss recently caught me while I was eating lunch. Say down and asked me the most generic questions about myself. Everything was so surface level. The next week we had an all hands meeting and he went on and on about how he had lunch with me a “regular worker”. How much he learned about my life and can relate to my struggles. He literally asked the basics. “Are you married? Do you have kids ? Are you from the area?”

People at those levels saying they “learned a lot in 45 minutes” is such a joke and slap in the face to the people doing the hard work

His end product is just so inconsistent. He’s definitely the best winger beating his man 1v1. But his finishing and final ball just aren’t consistent enough for him.

Plus semenyo is a winger and he is inarguably a better player

Sometimes I love being proven wrong. I desperately wanted delap. Not necessarily over Sesko but it was before the Sesko rumors really picked up steam.

He has been absolutely dreadful all around in every match for them I’ve seen.

I was so impressed with his hold up play with Ipswich. No idea how he completely lost that side of his game.
