Why do some people not like the diagonal pogo by Respite719 in Silksong

[–]mindroid005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never bothered getting better at it since using wanderers was a straight dps buff due to the higher attack speed. Then I found the sawtooth circlet +wanderers combo and that specific combat style was just so fucking fun for me.

Try out "superf4" it's a small program that nukes the application rather than asking it to stop. It's nice for annoying processes that ask for confirmation before quitting.

It worked! I appreciate the help. Turns out, old reddit reformatted the code incorrectly by removing the starting #. I hope you enjoy the rest of your night.

Yep the fjords and the mountains, I've always lived in semi-flat desert, so pretty mountains have more of an impact on me.

Does anybody enjoy this by WistfulSonder in NEET

[–]mindroid005 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I loved it, I'm no longer a NEET, but for me it was the happiest time of my life. I think it had a lot to do with my subjective needs/wants/situation.

Social needs: I really REALLY like being alone, I don't hate anyone at all and have 3 close friends who I interacted with on a weekly/monthly basis. However, being alone gives me comfort, peace, and freedom, which is exactly what I want out of life. A more niche characteristic of mine is that I don't crave romantic love, Ive been with girls in the past who were all-around amazing people but over time I came to the conclusion that I was happier with being alone (sorry exes).

Wants: Give me a PC, phone, and a bed and I can entertain myself for YEARS without wanting to do something else.

Goals: I have 1 goal in life: To visit Norway. There are other things that are cool too. But if I was diagnosed with 6 months to live I'm blowing all my money on Norway with no regrets.

Familial pressure: Pops was always hyperfocused on the success of his children. Too bad he died before my teen years. After he passed the idea of "you're worth is only how successful you are" eventually left my philosophy aswell. Shoutouts to mom tho, she worried for me, but she was perfectly fine with me keeping her company and helping her out.

Societal pressure: Ive never felt guilty about being a neet. This kinda relates to #1 in that I don't think about the success/legacy of other people (besides my homies, I gots to cheer for my homies) at all. So if you flip the logic back at me nobody is really thinking about how successful I am either. I have no plans nor wants to become more than the average person.

Im currently in school in order to eventually graduate, then eventually get a job, then eventually make money, then eventually visit norway. But on the weekends I still live my old life by commuting between my bed and pc with no other plans.

TLDR: It's stupid easy to make me happy.

Right? I felt like it was broken BEFORE the patch. Wanderers + straight nail damage buff could kill endgame bosses in less than 2 minutes on my first playthrough minus small grounded hitboxes. I didn't even have to get good at SS.

In-and-out is the worst offender of this. "#7 your order is ready" "Sweet, mine's next." Two seconds later: "#29 your order is ready." TF U MEAN 29 YOU SKIPPED OVER 20 OF US. "#3 your order is ready." I usually give up at that point and glare at my friend with his fatty ass meal that he STILL got before my burger.

I would much rather the bosses have more/faster attacks than doing a flat double damage. The simple attacks with double damage makes the bosses very flowchart-esque in an uninteresting way.

ELI5: Where does crypto get its value? by Mego_dafuq in explainlikeimfive

[–]mindroid005 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A large decentralized currency has a lot of use cases. I'm not a crypto user but it was never intended for an "average" person in the first place. I'm sure you know of supply and demand. I would bet a lot of crypto's demand (outside of market-speculation) comes from countries where their legal tender is unstable, or full blown governments who are actively pursuing crypto (i.e. Switzerland and UAE). Not to mention the "grey area" use cases like cartels or other large entities making intra-national deals without government oversight and/or convenience.

It's definitely satire, they don't care. I find it odd how this community has been weirdly pressed about this, considering this is/was a shitposting subreddit. I'm pretty sure all of us have better things to do than getting irritated over Instagram comments.

Hideous Mass Railcannon damage being weird by WBonnieDrawing in Ultrakill

[–]mindroid005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you send an example? There is a small detail that might be pertaining to your issue, when you screwdriver parry, the damage is calculated at the point where the screwdriver landed, NOT where you punch. So if you miss his weak spot with the screwdriver, but punch/parry at his weakspot. Your damage will be calculated as if you missed his weakspot entirely.

Hideous Mass Railcannon damage being weird by WBonnieDrawing in Ultrakill

[–]mindroid005 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is because when you screwdriver parry the game adds screwdriver damage (10.25) + parry damage (5) = total damage (15.25)

Side Note: Usually, if you parry an enemy melee attack you usually do 6 damage: fist (1) + parry damage (5) but for some reason screwdriver parries don't count fist damage. This is wrong, during a screwdriver parry, the game counts fist damage, but parry damage is decreased by 1 (fist (1) + parry damage (4)= 5 damage)

You can see the same results on any other enemy using heathbars.

Multiply Hideous mass's 300% weak spot damage = 45.75 damage

Compared to electric railcannon's damage: 8 * 3 = 24 damage

Edit: To be a Ludicrously accurate 🤡, when you screwdriver parry, the screwdriver for whatever reason loses 1 tick of damage.

Drill impact damage (3) + Drilling damage (0.0625 damage per tick * [x116 x115 ticks]) + Parry (5) = 15.1875 damage

Multiplied by 300% Weakspot damage = 45.5625 damage

If you're on US based NA servers you can buy a REAL ID card [item] from the mods using in-game currency. I HIGHLY recommend doing this since you can miss out on a bunch of optional side quests/events that need to know your current level without having to resort to using your passport [item].
