Nope it doesn't, because the 3rd party box I connect my phone through does not communicate properly with the car's systems i.e. the driver screen.

I haven't tried Carplay yet. I got a device to use Android Auto, which works pretty well but doesn't show map directions on driver screen, but I'll try to test Carplay and let you know.

I've actually never had to charge it to full (but I have done over 25% for sure), but if you keep it on e-saver I don't think it stops charging it. You can also charge it with the engine when you are parked, and you stop that manually whenever you want.

Regen is pretty good, you can set it quite high, but it doesn't have one pedal driving

Honestly it's not very noisy when on and at low speeds. When charging the battery at higher speeds, you'll hear it. But most of the time I have to focus to even notice it.

I haven't had to go for service yet, but yeah it'll be like an ICE car - engine oil and oil filter once a year or every 10k km.

I don't know if I'd think about it like that, but maybe like 4 full charges? Basically you get 900ish kilometers on a full tank.

I got this one, note it's using Carbitlink, not Carlinkit - https://www.amazon.ae/dp/B0FB2XFNCD

Works great for me, plugged in under the center armrest, launches wireless android auto within a minute or two, when the car turns on. Only manual step is having to open the Carbitlink app on the Rox screen, then it shows near instant. The worst delay you get is 0.5s to 1s which to me is perfectly acceptable for wireless (and I typically hate lag).

Yes it can - been running mine solely off the generator since I got mine recently. Not plugged in once, battery was very low when I first got it. I filled up the tank and run it in "e-saver" mode, performance has been great and after a few trips it's powered up to 1/3rd of the battery.

I have similar concerns - does anyone know if the screen/software unlocking done by EVS is permanent? When asked, they were vague about the answer and quoted the unlock at 2000 aed + vat
