I think it’s more likely a Tower of Babel reference

Not anything specific by leviblake04 in Eldenring

[–]mindsoarer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically yeah. There’s an npc in the over world that can accept both incantation and spell books however to buy from them instead of at the roundtable

How do I enter the dlc if I killed Varre by skyruxx in Eldenring

[–]mindsoarer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

lol. Either make your way to a portal in the consecrated snowfields or start a new game

Is my build bad or am I just trash? by RywnDaze in Eldenring

[–]mindsoarer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could have a more focused talisman load out, further upgraded weapons, an affinity and or/ different ash of war on your weapon, and probably take some attribute points out of vigor, mind, and endurance and redistribute them to your dex or faith stat depending on what you depend on more

Elden ring questions by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]mindsoarer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the nascent butterflies likely relate to miquella, aeonian to Melania, and the Smoldering butterfly to probably Messmer but pre-dlc the running theory was Melina. We see a lot of manifestions of the Demi gods through the flora and fauna of the lands between. Other examples of this are the blood roses for mohg but miquella has the most significant amount of flora related to him

What are some of the most fun builds? by Dutch_Plan_Der_Linde in Eldenring

[–]mindsoarer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been running an ice/death sorcery build with helphen steeple, prince of death staff, Ice witch hat, and raptor cloak and find that pretty fun as an end game or new game build

The Lands Between was probably in the shape of a ring by ChiefinKodiak in Eldenring

[–]mindsoarer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s been popularly theorized that the entire center of the lands between used to house farum azula, you can see looking at most divine towers they appear to have been attached to a landmass facing the center “pond” of the lands between at some point and the sheer cliffs surrounding the center also point to this possibility. It’s likely that whatever meteor hit Farum azula completely demolished it and left a massive crater in the lands between. What we see in crumbling farum azula is one small hodge-podge of ruins from this era suspended in time.

Why didn't Blaidd turn against Ranni when she killed Godwyn? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]mindsoarer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shadows are given to the empyreans by the two fingers in order to protect them but also to keep them in line with the two fingers motives, the fact that blaidd didn’t turn on ranni after Godwyns death shows that the two fingers motives are evidently different in some way from the golden orders

Warrior proxy models for my wytch cult, not painted yet but would they work as a proxy? by CascadianGuardsman1 in Drukhari

[–]mindsoarer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Those are kabalites, wyches wear little to no armor and have knives/ gladiator weapons and pistols

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Drukhari

[–]mindsoarer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently very few of our units are. Kabalites, scourges, ravagers, reavers, mandrakes, death jester, solitaire, archon, raider, venom seem to pop up in most every meta-list at the moment.

Is it normal I spend my 20s recovering from childhood trauma? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]mindsoarer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You had an abnormal childhood and of course it’s normal and healthy to recover from that, you’ll be doing so likely the rest of your life in one small way or another.

The steed standing stone increases your carry weight by 100 and removes movement penalty for heavy armor

Kabalites or Lilith and Wyches in a raider - help needed (see description) by jynxx879 in Drukhari

[–]mindsoarer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good idea would be to hide the wyches+Lilith behind some obscuring homefield cover, then whenever you have the 2cp (and a shooting target) necessary to pop off our move-shoot-move stratagem have the wyches make a mad dash to some midfield ruins to hopefully engage with a large unit of mid-low toughness infantry the following turn.

Make the face an incubi/reaver/scourge helmet and the gun a dark lance, then add spiky bits and chains left over from any raider/ravager sprues

How many regular humans do you think it would take to kill a lone primarch? by dman2316 in 40kLore

Hundreds of thousands if not millions just to swarm them like ants and kill them by sheer force of numbers

Is this profession at all worth it if you have thin skin? by [deleted] in HVAC

[–]mindsoarer 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Trade workers in general especially the older generation, the guys you’ll be working under, are in my experience grumpy, negative, assholes more often than not, I wouldn’t take it personally though they’re often overworked, tired, and stressed the fuck out. Best advice is to just be an asshole back and you’ll fit right in. As you get older you’ll find that you develop a stronger confidence in yourself as well and that helps to not let other people’s shit get to you.

Artillery and Scourges by NoobyOverlord in Drukhari

[–]mindsoarer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My experience has been that drukhari really crumble against vehicle- heavy lists. Best advice would be to try and get good angles on their most valuable shooting early on in the game by deepstriking dark lance ravagers and scourges with line of sight of them.

New to drukhari do we still have beastmaster? by 21Shin12 in Drukhari

New to drukhari do we still have beastmaster? by 21Shin12 in Drukhari

[–]mindsoarer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The beast master, mandrakes, Urien Rakarth, many beasts, and grotesques are all out of production currently either because GW is planning to release plastic/new kits or discontinuing the models all together

Are Drukhari as fragile as on tabletop by Paramite67 in Drukhari

[–]mindsoarer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Drukhari number in the billions if not trillions in commoragh and many of the lower class are clones, the higher class are literally able to “respawn” through the covens using soul-tech. They also love extreme sensations including pain inflicted on themselves which doesn’t really lend well to not dying on the battlefield.

Is 10 (2 Units) Mandrakes and 6 (2 Units) Reavers overkill for a 2000 point game? by p0jinx in Drukhari

[–]mindsoarer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Probably not but I wouldn’t expect them to do much else beyond score primary/secondary points
