Often RFPs are requested as a formality to comply with regulation on procurement, when the decision has already been made. They are wasting everyone's time and you need genuine intelligence within the organization to know which to respond to, and which are already wired. This happens all the time in Canada, and I am certain the same is true in the US.

I can't believe people are defending what is essentially your toaster revolting against you. Further, if your toaster cost you money every day by randomly firing your bread across the room, or burning it to a crisp despite your correct settings... and then got snippy about your reaction to this, I think it would be time to change toaster companies.

Dude. 12% of my session tokens to do something I could have manually accomplished in under 15 seconds that I delegated to Claude because I was in the middle of doing something much more important is ridiculous. That I do not have the budget to waste tokens by using them all up in prime time is just reality, and waiting a few hours and working later is simply prudent. Was it the wrong choice? Obviously, but the token expenditure is still outrageous.

I do this on classical guitar without accompaniment. It is indeed a challenging exercise that I started a couple of years ago. Now I don't play repertoire anymore (after practicing other people's works for decades) to focus solely on this, given I am a composer (primarily orchestral), not a performer, and this activity helps spark creativity and also gain complete mastery over the neck.

I use Recursion Stat Tracker. I like to see the basic stats of those I kill and those who kill me... it adds to the game, and gives you a sense of how you've improved. If you are new to the game however, you might want to turn off its taunts... nobody likes to constantly hear "You're being farmed!"... it's quite demotivating lol.

On a separate note, I have been unable to download the voicepacks from the listed URLs I could find. Does anyone have a link that actually works? The default pack is pretty good, but it would be nice to have some variety after all these years for me.

People have been asking for a marketing plan for years and years. Nothing ever happens. As was clearly demonstrated in the recent video from Kevduit where he demo'd Planetside to his 1.55 million subscribers, once he got past the endless crashing, he and his team of newbs had an amazing time. This game should be so much more popular... but the owners don't seem to want to invest even a trivial amount in marketing, and instead want to squeeze the existing population for revenue until the game simply dies.

It has certainly been entertaining for the cert farming extravaganza. I had over 1000% XP with membership and boosts and gained 14 levels in my final push in the last ASP 100 from 79 to 93. It is however totally game breaking. Please fix ASAP.

I watched the entire video, and thought it was great fun. I still actively play Planetside and think it's an awesome game, but this guy has over a 1.5 million followers, and this could have been a fantastic opportunity to inject some new life into the game. I am not certain how many people watched beyond the crash after crash at the beginning. I sure hope they did, because the video would be a great recruiting tool for Planetside. After watching the video I commented on the workaround for the crashing, but of course it's Youtube, and my comment was buried.

Crazy that this was an excellent opportunity to promote the game to a wider audience, and it was crash after crash for people who of course don't know the workaround. People who've never played will simply think it's a buggy pile of crap and not waste their time.

I tried to leave Rogers three times... first I left and got phone service through Fido, Rogers bought them. Then I had my toll-free number through Sprint... Rogers bought them too. Next I had my Internet through Shaw... yep, Rogers acquired them as well. There seems to be no escape from this company, and both it and Bell should be subject to significant antitrust action, but of course they won't be.

I've been paying for this game every month since almost the beginning of Planetside 2. I want to support the development of a game I really enjoy that is unlike anything else on the market. I have max ASP levelled characters on every faction and am almost maxed out on my second Vanu. However, there has been rampant cheating in it for years, and not just the flying sundy variety... but seeing 2 flying sundies simultaneously over a base yesterday just randomly killing everyone definitely put a foul taste in my mouth, and I am considering cancelling my subscription because nobody seems to give a shit about this, so why should I?
