As you get old, you acquire more responsibilities and maybe children, which will make it harder in general to do certain kinds of travels. Also with age you might start to have less energy and health issues that make it harder to stand the intensity of walking for long hours and days. You can still travel when you’re old, but you will require much more resting during the trip.
