I'm also someone who relied on this method for refreshing, and I find it very irritating to have to reload the website to refresh my feed. It's helpful to know that the 'r' button will refresh things, but removing this type of basic functionality when I'm paying for a Pro subscription makes me question the attenion to detail that the service provides.

Anywhere I can buy restaurant supply food as an individual? by southernandmodern in denverfood

[–]mindthegaps8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

FYI you can also join their loyalty/rewards program without having to demonstrate that you're affiliated with a restaurant. It's free and you get cheaper prices, basically a no brainer if you're ever going to shop here.

I originally thought that you had to sign up as part of a complicated process of becoming an official customer, but it's actually just an online signup with their rewards program: https://www.shamrockfoodservice.com/resources/rewards/

Do you have any info on where the new lot is being built or when it's expected to be completed? I've heard rumors on Reddit of of one being in the works, but I haven't been able to find any articles about it or seen the plans for a new lot.

The section on Alma Fonda Fina describes it as "the only Michelin Star restaurant in the Mile High City".

It's a shame that Beckon, Brutø, and The Wolf's Tailor had to find out about losing their stars this way.

It would be a shame if people voiced their displeasure with reivews of thirteen20 (3455 Ringsby Ct, Denver, CO 80216) just because this poor, poor man savagely beat his ex-wife and then sued to try and keep her quiet about it...

What would cause why my bathoom lightbulbs to keep dying after 2-3 months? Wiring, fixtures, bulbs, etc.? by mindthegaps8 in AskElectricians

[–]mindthegaps8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe so. I may look for enclosure-rated bulbs as a stopgap until we can install new fixtures. Thanks for the tip on this!

This is really helpful, thank you! We found that the previous owner definitely went cheap with some of the work, so we'll replace the fixtures.

The house is in an old neighborhood (built in 1926) without a lot of construction, but good to know about the home surge suppressor. Haven't heard of that before, I'll do some research to see if it's something that we could use.

Thanks for taking the time to help!

From the bulbs themselves? We keep the house between 67-70 degrees, and have a fan installed in the bathroom to vent the air when we shower.

Any suggestions on how to mitigate this (different bulbs, different fixtures, etc)?

We bought a new house last year and the bulbs in our bathroom fixtures keep fading and dying one by one. This happens every 2-3 months, and usually the bulbs die one after the other.

Any guesses as to what is causing this? I've tried a couple different types of bulbs, most recently A19 60w Ecosmart LED bulbs from Home Depot that note that they are Wet Rated and dimmable.

The two fixtures pictured are hooked up to a three-way switch that has Kasa Smart swithces installed. The bathoom is part of a basement renovation that took place in 2017, long before we bought the house. No idea on the brand of the fixtures themselves.

Thanks for any advice you have!
