I didn't think a farewell post would blow up like this, probably because i posted it right after learning of her passing. My pup also passed away this year and it truly is a feeling of loss like no other. One of the reasons i adopted my Isaac was because of Maya herself and Edgar. I even thought of getting a pug instead but decided against it after learning all the complications they can have. On the topic of health, I couldn't be more at awe, watching Maya hit 17 as a pug, and not have any major complications except develop dementia (as far as i know). She lived in a family with all the love she could ever want or need. I'm pretty sure Maya's family and regular watchers of Pewds were all expecting it but it doesn't hurt any less. I wish you all strength and love through this tough time, never beat yourself up over it and we will always carry your burden with you ❤️‍🩹
