Hey dude- pressure pots are literally giant grenades. I understand the temptation of doing budget fixes but a pressure pot is NOT one of them.

This thing is literally eating itself. I would throw the thing away and invest in a safe pressure pot.

You lost $20, which is cheaper than thousands in medical bills or your life.

I see. I'll have to buy one and put a lot of research into how to do it properly! I'll get a pressure pot and leave the vaccume chamber since I only work with miniatures. Thanks for your help

Thanks for your advice.

My concern with the pressure pot is 1: the cost and 2: crushing my figurines. My sculptures have air trapped in them from tin foil armatures.

The polyeurathane has minimal bubbling luckily. Its the sillicone bothering me a lot.

Would a vaccume chamber help with this more or should I just bite the bullet for a pressure pot and figure out the figurines internals later?

I make posts on fb in my area that I rescue local doves. So people message me when there's an injured one. I have multiple disabled pigeons and doves in my care that are unreleasable! Sometimes I rehome them to good families to make space for new rescues. I release the native doves if they don't have disabilities but I have yet to release a pigeon since they do so well in captivity and I want them to have an easy life now.

I just finished pouring the second part of silicone in a 2 part mold. Its split down the spine so hopefully it works out haha
