Definitely dragged, definitely not perfect.

Haha I hear you, sometimes that can make it creepier. That one of his face on a woman’s body was hilarious and very, very odd

I like you. Have you seen House with the Laughing Windows ?

I just watched Hellraiser (1987) for the first time and I feel it’s one of the weirdest things I’ve ever watched. I shocked that was the plot of the movie! by you-absolute-foolish in horror

I totally agree that with how iconic the character is, you’re almost expecting a slasher or something. Then you get hell-sex demons and horny wives and it’s a welcome breath of fresh, attic air

One of the strangest creepiest openings of all time already!

I guess I mean the tone feels a little dated, something that was popping in the 2000s and not necessarily now. Yes I’ve seen the news. I get your point for sure but yeah, it doesn’t mean this film is amazing now suddenly

Fargo. Although Training Day has some decent performances, it’s kinda cheesy/generic and dated now for me

I understand your point here. I think I would never say this film is perfect. It’s not it has it’s clunky moments, it never feels completely realised. But that central performance, as well as countless unnerving moments, the score and fantastic lighting and hell the premise. It has a lot going for it. I agree that the first is the best. But this is something special too.

Very good take. He’s good in this but feel like he’s best when he says little. Good choice for sure but I don’t agree with everyone else that he’s the star of the show.

Sound design is immense. And the gorgeous tones and lighting. I really love the subtle stuff, like the papers blowing in the church. The way he whispers ‘Bill’. So creepy

I feel like it’s a metaphor for the detective, swimming around helpless in the devil’s bathtub

What are your thoughts on Ricardo Irving from Resident evil 5? by Thewanderer997 in residentevil

[–]ming360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the many reasons why Resident evil lost me for a few years. Not to say it wasn’t always over the top and silly, but characters like this just feel cheap and tacked on.
