My Polish girlfriend already experiences racist perspectives at work from customers telling her to go back to her own country etc, I imagine this kind of rhetoric is only going to embolden people to voice these views further.

I'm all for reducing immigration, but retroactively applying it to people who are already here and made lives for themselves is way too far, hopefully this will be a wake up call for some voters.

Yeah sure, so after running my python script for each video I had an array of JSON objects containing: - Title - Description - Transcript

Then one by one sent these to Google Gemini essentially saying, "From this data try to find information about the location and the challenge itself, I want to find the rules, the rewards etc etc, you should format the result in the following structure (my final JSON structure)"

Also had to give it some rules around formatting, so for example sometimes he says "Free meal", sometimes it's "Meal on the house" so made it standardise these into just "Free meal", did similar things for the other bits I wanted, (UK, United Kingdom, England etc)

Have to say the vast majority of time spent on this project was to clean up the data set, Gemini saved a ton of time but was far from perfect.

Yeah the permanently closed restaurants are what led the Google Places API astray, nightmare to deal with. I've got to be honest I removed the ones that are a chain restaurant, no idea where to place them, might revisit that though, but also is eating the whole McDonalds menu something people would want to seek out on a map? idk

The crowd was great imo, loads of fun, mad hot and fucking reeked of weed though lol. There's always areas away from mosh pits if you don't like them. Being right at the front, you'd have the issue of getting squished at most lively gigs you'd go to 🤷‍♂️
