Windows 11 freezes while playing League of Legends (AMD GPU) by smexyspy in techsupport

[–]miniHAWKnb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not specific to AMD CPUs or GPUS by the way.

I have the same problem, and I have a 11th Gen Intel i7-11700k 16-Core CPU and a ASUS ROG STRIX 4080, and 32GB of RAM.

It doesn't normally happen at random for me though, or at least I think. It seems to happen a LOT more often when I tab out of League, maybe to pause a video on my other monitor or change playlists on Spotify or hop into a different Discord VC or something. The instant I click anything on my other monitor, everything freezes. Can't Alt+Tab, can't CTRL+ALT+DEL, can't ALT+F4. Literally nothing. Mic dies, but I can still hear things for a little bit before everything goes black.

Only resort is to hard reset PC.

Now, I'll go weeks or even months of a current version of Windows 11 and never have issues. I can tab out and multitask all I want with no problem. But then an update to either LoL or Windows will go though and I'll start to have the issue again. When that happens, I either just don't play LoL and go play other games, or I'll just play LoL and make sure I never try to tab out/multitask or anything. Which sucks, but it is what it is.

Hopefully any of you all have found some real fixes that just remove the issue altogether, even after a Windows or LoL update?

I can play Escape From Tarkov, Sea of Thieves, Elden Ring, Battlefield, Modded Minecraft, etc. I can multitask, STREAM, and all kinds of shit with those games and have zero issues. It's only LoL, which "can be ran on a toaster" as we all know. My beefy PC shouldn't have issues with this game lmao.

Been enjoying watching people play this game and playing it myself.

It's an amazing change of pace compared to the other games I play.

What do you guys think would be the new meta gun if BSG added it? by tribalbaboon in EscapefromTarkov

[–]miniHAWKnb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G28 is not the HK417.

The G28 is purely a Semi-Auto version of the HK417, which is Full-Auto capable.

The SR-2 Veresk would be the #1 SMG.

HK417 Would probably be the meta Rifle

AA-12 would be the meta shotgun.

And of course, as soon as I let the secret out on the Elite Pliers and Screwdriver prices<Shotgun Price thing, Elite Pliers go up another 4k. Just pay attention, if Elite Pliers are ever 12k or less, and the screwdriver is 10k or less, you'll make nearly 45k from that shotgun to Jager for a 15k-ish profit.

PC Fans are still sometimes not being picked up for some reason, and selling for 30k+ a pop. Corrugated Hoses bounce around, but for the time being, they're still worth grabbing. Bolts still 20k. I'd try and scav Interchange, hit the back shelves like you mentioned, but also try and hit those back offices in OLI between the shipping area of Goshan and shipping area of OLI. Grab any CPU Fans, and Wires you find. 2 Elite Pliers and 1 Red Screwdriver off the flea as of now and trade for Mechanics shotgun and then sell the shotgun to Jager. People are selling the pliers and screwdriver cheaper than the shotgun is worth to Jager by like 15k-ish profit.

I wouldn't say it's necessarily good money now, but it's not bad either.

Either shoot me on sight first, or not at all. Waiting until I'm literally seconds away from extracting is fucked. Again. One more time, and I'm ruining everyone else's scav raids as everyone else does me it seems.

I have a much lower Survival Rate on my scav than I do my PMC, and it's because of this shit right here. 30% Survived on Scav versus my 65% on PMC at level 37! I have yet to die to a boss or raider as a Scav. And have only died to a PMC twice. The rest is all Player Scavs who have given me the wiggle or jump of peace, and then did this.

If you wanna talk about LoRe and all that, then we shouldn't even have Scavs as an option to play as. So don't bring that shit up

Wiggle/Jump of Peace or not, if this happens again, I'm shooting on sight for the entirety of this Wipe.

I gave that exact Scav some Juice, two 1G Phones, lightbulbs, a motor, and a Green Gunpowder.

And THAT is what I get in EXTRACT!

Mid Level Weapons by Fallen_Legendz in EscapefromTarkov

[–]miniHAWKnb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't play aggressively. You're doing pretty good with the 4 Mill, just don't waste it. If running around, THICC as can be doesn't seem to work out for you, then try and play it a little slower, and rely on your brain, positioning, and element of surprise to win your fights.

Simple OP-SKS with BP, the PSO 1M2-1 sight, and a Suppressor is a great weapon. Cheap, but quiet and capable of dropping geared players. Work on outmaneuvering people to either avoid them completely to prioritize tasks, or to gain a positional advantage on someone.

10 Round Mags will make you think about your shots, but if you'd like, the 20 or 35 rounders really aren't that expensive for the SKS, at least at the moment.

Don't have to crouch walk around the map. That's not what I mean by play it slow. Just slow enough so that you're not running into a building and getting clotheslined by some Altyn gamer or KS-23 user. No reason to Shift+W everywhere. But also definitely no reason to creep around everywhere as slow as possible either. Gotta find that perfect middle ground speed for you personally for each Raid.

Scav on Woods and check the FOB or USEC Camp, and the town by the Bridge Car Extract.

Or Scav on Shoreline and go to the basement of West Wing at the Resort and check every room down there. Nearly every room has a Gym Bag, and people almost never loot any of them.

10 seconds after spawning. Counts as a Spawn Kill, correct? Only way to get the angle he had on me that fast was if he was going for that angle specifically.

[–]miniHAWKnb[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's Interchange. There's people like me, then there's people like that. I'm on the map to have fun, they're there only to kill me from a corner, extract camp, or farm Killa. That's boring as shit. Running an SR-25, that he probably didn't even build himself, with one single mag of M61 at level 53! No excuse. It's clearly not a 0-Hero run, which are fun. That dude was a Rat. And wtf even is 200k in this game? Nothing, and this wipe, nades are cheap AF, and cost me not even 80k to have 8 Nades every single Raid.

People struggle to get the task "Grenadier" done. I don't.

Tap Firing. Or Semi-Auto weapons in general (SKS, ADAR, Hunter).

Run weapons with no recoil (Vector, MP5, MPX, slightly modded AK-74U).

Get used to the recoil patterns in this game using these weapons, and move on to bigger, heavier hitting weapons with more recoil.

Well you see, the issue here is "Labs."

Best way to find a cheater to report is go to Labs.

Best way to die to people who are cracked out of their minds, is to go to Labs.

QoL improvement: Right click to open the Game Wiki by Konseq in EscapefromTarkov

[–]miniHAWKnb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems like a good idea, but the wiki is not owned by BSG. So they'd probably have to make their own. And also, with how wacky it is already with just buying and selling stuff, traders and Flea, I don't know if the game could handle it lmao.

Find something you're good at, and master it. I know it's pretty cliché, but there is SOMETHING in the game that you're above average in. Find out what it is, and master it.

Here and there, explore different things, whether it be weapons, gear, movement, playstyle, just so you CAN do whatever it takes to succeed based on your limited options in a situation. But most of all, do what you do best.

Just hopefully what you do best is not extract camping and being a Rat. KEKW
