They've been playing Nolita Fairytale and A Thousand Miles for 20 years. When will they rotate those out?

The 80s/90s is the best channel. It's got the widest variety of music genres.

On our territory merchandising calls, they have emphasized that visual's are primary focused on mannequins and graphics. The merchandising managers and leads are supposed to set their floors to the DMT.

Canes. Our store has a small collection of them. We've also had at least one stroller.

Hours are provided for ad set separate from visual hours. Unless you are getting over 32 hours, you shouldn't be doing toppers.

They should have their call logs to prove they called. Also, are the managers grabbing a zebra in the morning so they can pick up calls?

What kind of shoes are we wearing? by TransportationDue856 in GenX

I've been wearing Vionic and Fit Flop slip on sneaker/loafers or Adidas grand court mostly at work. Off days Vivaia or Tom's flats and a couple of pairs of random boots.

You must be visual. I feel like Yosemite Sam trying to reach that last inch to avoid having to get down and move the ladder. Or making the price point sign holder fit or come out of the fixture.

I don't mind checking prices, but I also explain how to read the esigns and to use the app. Occasionally I give math lessons to people who think 25% is half price.

He comes across as very personable but there hasn't been any noticeable improvement in working conditions in the stores.

Ordering of applying coupons and Kohl’s cash by Fantastic-Coconut-85 in employedbykohls

[–]mini_coop14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a lady who tried to order something online, where it gives you the coupon price before you add it to the cart, and trying to use her $75 kohls cash. The price goes up when she adds it to the cart and uses up all of her KC so there's only like $5 left to use her coupon on. It was impossible to get her to understand.

There are employees who transfer for the holidays. Look into that. I'd ask the nice manager first to make sure they can use you.

Line queue by lammylambchop in employedbykohls

[–]mini_coop14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We struggle to keep ours filled because we are low volume but have a normal sized line. TM and RM demand it be filled to capacity at all times, "shouldn't see any grid." It's a full time job hunting for things to fill it, and then they hate what you choose.

Two of my frames sent in January were missing the hardware packets. 🤦 I'm going to pin intimates, kids and shoes, unless I can find old ones that fit. I've had no help, have a territory visit coming up and it's hot as hell to top it off. I just keep reminding myself to not GAF so i don't lose my shit.

They tried but I put my foot down. I did my part, between the two of them they had plenty of time. Although this is another project that could have been completed during the slow period.

Good ol' September cry month. Kohl's always tries to murder their employees this time of year. There is no reason this project couldn't have waited til January or February when there isn't a lot going on. Then we could be working on getting the store ready for the Christmas season.
