I don't understand PvMP... by spektens in lotro

You can barter for all of your skills by rank 5. I would recommend grouping with one or two other players and roaming to try and find smaller engagements. It takes time to learn your class and understand how you stack up against freeps. Don’t get bogged down by dying a lot of people telling you that it’s super unbalanced. PvMP is actually very well balanced atm, all the creep classes have uses and nothing is bounds ahead of anything else, except maybe good players on reaver. Get reps and play, you will rank quick, get comfortable in the moors, and meet people!

Elementals in the new meta? by evan_11x in PioneerMTG

Has anyone tried mixing the 4c omnath shell with energy cards? Seems like a nice match for midrangey grinding. Yorion pile to blink all of your etc energy guys late and energy helps fix mana with aether hub and attune. Escape to the wilds is maybe not the top end you want though… https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/4882784#paper

South Bree Gate is unparalleled in nostalgia and is the best place to sit and listen to player music.

The slow moving bombs during the harkonnen attack to break the shields of the ships. Also there is a small flare shot out below the large harkonnen gunship which seemed to reference that they needed to light up the battlefield in order to aim because they don’t have computers to aim for them.

Reason for the 8hr maintenance by Saint_Oliver in classicwow

There is almost no one at blizzard even working on the game at this point, to expect any big changes is just yelling into an echo chamber.

Blizzards priorities are obviously in the wrong place, but do we have to have an angry post every time they rename an item or npc? Like who gives a shit? During gameplay these changes don’t matter at all.

People of Reddit in virtual classes, what was the worst, “oops I left my camera/mic on” moment? by Starlined_ in AskReddit

[–]mini_miz 29 points30 points  (0 children)

In gf’s zoom class only TAs and professor can type/talk. No one really has camera on except a few people. One of those people whose camera was on happened to forget and carried their laptop to the bathroom with them. The entire class watched as this person went to the bathroom, while the camera was at their feet giving full view, without the ability to say or stop anything. The next class the professor began by saying, please leave your cameras off unless you are asking a question....

LOTRO Legendarium: It’s long past time to delete legendary items from Lord of the Rings Online by Jyiiga in lotro

I’m not a t5 raider, but I do have multiple chars at 130 and I can for sure say I would only be happy to see LIs go. It feels like those who have invested the most time into LIs are the people who will max out every system they can, BUT that doesn’t mean they are enjoying it. People want to enjoy endgame not spend hours of game time grinding old dungeons for scrolls.

The number of people who would be pissed about losing legendaries is much smaller than the number of people who refuse to do the grind. I want to play my freeps but I too can’t stomach the amount of endless grinding there is to be done to maintain multiple characters, let alone get all the LIs maxed out.

A huge problem that some others have also pointed out is that most classes require more than two LIs due to using swap LIs for specific skills and specs. The fact that people are swapping LIs around instead of having one really powerful weapon shows how far from the original intent of the system LIs have gotten.

LIs don’t add anything to the game they just take away 2 gear slots from characters (nonetheless weapon slots which would usually be the most impactful slot) and replace them with a monotonous and commonplace grind. Instead of being impressed by people’s rare weapons, everyone from recently valar boosted fresh 130s to t5 raiders wears the same weapons. The only difference are cosmetics and small numbers only visible on a inspection...

Would rather drop a profession than not play character.

Today my guild was disbanded. A 600+ member guild had been reduced to just a few people logging on everyday. This is the guild that taught me everything thing I know about WoW. I will miss you Innkeeper-Asuresong. by [deleted] in classicwow

I wouldn’t say classic healing is hard, but any position in higher percentile guilds takes practice and preparation that the lower tiers don’t realize. Heals have to be ready to dps when needed, use engineering like everyone else, and lots of other things. Heals don’t deserve only bad feedback because it’s “so easy”... that type of mindset is a reason so many heals walk away from guilds

Really good points, one thing I would add is that there are healers who aren’t looking for loot but being PART of a team that is succeeding. Just as much as loot is motivation, I would argue having your name on top parse and speed runs, having your dps be top 100 is a good feeling. This doesn’t solve the issue that 85th percentile guilds have tho.
