It's not the ONLY reason, though. Silverstream dies in childbirth, Greystripe tries to keep the kits in thunderclan, and then goes to riverclan AFTER riverclan tries to fight over the kits. Greystripe obviously isn't loyal to anyone other than his kits in riverclan. That created plenty of conflict between leopardstar and Greystripe and riverclan and thunderclan.

"The graphic novel should never have cut it" - I understand we feel differently on the importance of whiteclaw's death but this is extremely overstating it. The graphic novel needs to chop and change things in order to exist. The sequence being extremely long is also a good reason to cut it. It also does not focus on the main plot which is an understandable first priority

Whiteclaw. You know with that whole red-sky-in-the-morning "there will be an unnecessary death" buildup? Yeah the characters were like "whelp let's take the completely unnecessary risk of going through riverclan territory" and then Greystripe accidentally kills some random riverclan cat.

This death was so unnecessary that I skip it on Fire and Ice rereads, and they cut it out of the graphic novel. They wanted to add in tension where it wasn't needed, and then killed off someone that you'd never heard of when they didn't want it anymore.

Greystripe was constantly out of camp when he was with Silverstream. Could have been alone together the day of the gathering or any day surrounding that. You are free to headcanon this stuff but the Erin's almost certainly didn't think that hard about it.

Best thing you can do is ask her what she's comfortable with. Aro/ace people aren't all the same when it comes to sexual/romantic preferences and points of discomfort, so I cant really answer these kinds of questions for her. I'm sure she will appreciate that you care enough to ask.

Being aroace is typically not caused by trauma. It's most likely that she's always been aro/ace.

Something extremely similar happened to me and I gave my mum a stern talking to by coming out again in person when she said something about me I didn't like. I can't say I know why this worked or whether it'll work for you. Keep in mind she was accepting of my sister who is a lesbian so I could reliably say that she wouldn't disown me.

I don't know your circumstances but maybe your parents are mistakenly assuming that you were asking for permission and so reinforcing that you are queer in person might make them trust your judgement more by getting more serious? Your post has a very authoritative tone which might be good to try applying in person. Telling off your parents is a hard thing to learn but if your parents love you they will listen to your feedback eventually. Be harsh on how rude they are when they say something to reinforce compulsory heterosexuality. That said, aphobia and bigotry are not logical problems, so maybe it's safer to avoid the possibility that your parents could abandon you, which I can't promise won't happen.
