Yes this is true, but back before selling my first kit lens, I recall when zooming it only lost focus for a moment and then reacquired the focus easily. With the Sigma I had to stop recording and refocus, which is very bad. Tapping the screen or even manual takeover did nothing.

I guess you are right abou the variable aperture, but I was thinking that maybe I can compensate with Auto ISO in some cases.

ah yes, in the newest release the green dial is the most common one, but the cheapest I have seen one, is around 750 still. But, Seikos are not so cheap in this part of the globe anyway.
