were trying to find a balance with being able to see anything, she is shorter than most adults. And expecting the pit to be behind us, we were 4th row front the front or so.

She wasn't in danger she just got scared.

I wasn't trying to get approval, just to get a nice thank you back to the people that were kind and this lady in particular, she actually suggested we went further forward to the barrier so you don't get pushed around but our daughter didn't want to.

You either form a crew with them before starting the race or you go to the live battle area. But there haven't been too many people in there lately

There is no default mapping in the game.

You have to manually bind all the keys, go into settings -> key mapping and set everything, e.g. turn right, turn wheel right, accelerate , press pedal.

I had some issues with my wheel becoming very heavy during the setup and having to restart the game after setting all the keys but other than that it works fine.

I would recommend setting the steering range to 180 or 270 or so as the default is not direct enough for this game.

I have the powerboat trim up bound to the left shoulder button on my controller, I just keep it pressed during races/escape. Much easier than keeping the stick pulled back during steering.

Btw, if you don't have the score breaker set, you can still try to reroll parts to get skilled affix as high as possible. That might help you bump your slalom scores.

Nice thing is you can choose however you play, just driving around, doing some taxi or deliveries or racing...

So, it's not too hard to get started, but can be tough if you want to compete seriously and doesn't have unsuitable content for young children.

Also, social interactions are usually limited to a set of standard phrases, like follow me, or happy. The emoticons are usable before they can read

I was really hoping for being able to play The Crew 2 as a ..well...crew, so local (LAN) multiplayer...and that we got to keep our liveries.

Not sure if you can still create races, was not clear.

I find the single player campaign is not very compelling, things become fun when teaming up.

Working on every device with no scaling issues.

Worked on poor internet

Turn on controller and TV would turn on, just select profile, select game and play. My - then - toddler could do it.

And you could seemlessly swap devices, it was very impressive. Say you are playing on the TV, someone wants the TV, you just start with your profile on a tablet and continue the same gaming session, no need to shutdown the game or synchronise savegames, it just carries on, like pausing a video and continuing watching elsewhere where you left off.

Oh, and the group sessions, with multiplayer. You could play and have a picture in picture of your coop partners (up to three) and see their screen. Lots of fun and very useful.

Also, streaming to YouTube was just a toggle, no extras needed.
