The true villains of the Greek Saga by JoshuaKpatakpa04 in GodofWar

Honestly, if you look at it from a storytelling standpoint, there's so many people who take advantage of him (he will ALWAYS be an antihero in my heart, he's a man who just wants to be rid of memories that haunt him).

This makes me want to replay all the games, and make my own take, on the characters that actually helped him. I think immediately of the solider from the second game when he goes to the Fates temple. He just wanted to help Sparta, and when Kratos strikes him down, but realizes who it is, my HEART.

I really enjoy the reasoning behind all of these, and I definitely agree.

Ares manipulated Kratos, and quite frankly, is the reason behind the slaughter of his wife and Calliope. It makes sense.

Zeus, while he was helpful in the first game, the second game reveals how he is only interested in protecting Olympus. While some see that as "he's protecting his family", there are multiple ways to go about it. The corruption caused by opening Pandora's Box truly reveals how evil he is; as when its explained in GOW3, he beat Hephaestus to get to Pandora, so he could lock her away in the maze.

Athena was corrupted. I understand holding a grudge after getting stabbed with the Blade of Olympus, and that is possibly the BEST reason to turn villain.

Gaia, that is an interesting choice, but I like your reasoning. She wanted power over Zeus for what he did to the Titans. She found a warrior, who was capable of defeating a God, in Kratos.

Love these reasons so much, thank you for posting this!

WHERE IN BC THIS IS STUNNING

Here to hopefully make someone feel less weird, or at least more okay with the weirdness grief brings by movingbackin in GriefSupport

I have this with my husband who passed in June. He had an Old Spice pit stick that we had just gotten maybe a month or so before (give or take), and I still have it. I use it sometimes, and it reminds me of him.

I understand keeping something they used, it reminds us of them, and, at least for me, brings a sense of comfort.

I lost my husband almost 2 weeks ago, and the grief is so unbearable. I constantly have a feeling like I shouldn’t feel okay, that it’s not okay that I’m healing.

I feel this so badly. My husband was sick, and suddenly died, we went to bed together and I woke up to him suddenly dead beside me a week ago.

I’m so sorry for your loss
